Rosalie's Point of View

"And you now know how you feel?" mom asks.
I look at her. "Yes, but that's the problem,"
She gets my hand. "Sweetie, I know I am not the right person to say this; but, nothing is wrong about how you feel. You clearly love him,"
"Why are you the wrong person?"
She smiles, "I divorced your daddy remember?"
I sigh. "Yeah and?"
"He was the most amazing man but I didn't see him that way so I was in fault,"
"But you never-"
"I am the wrong person to say that you love Luke because I am not your daddy. Your dad would have said that Daniel is your prince charming. He is the right choice but he isn't the one you love. That is okay sweetie,"
I sigh again. "I don't know what to do. I mean, how to tell him,"
"Daniel?"
"Luke,"
"I thought that will be the easy part,"
"Nayda loves him and he really likes her mom. They broke up just for him to get better. She might be waiting for him. Luke can be waiting for her too,"
"You are afraid to get rejected,"
"I guess,"
"And be a lonely drunk like I am?"
"Mom, you are not drunk anymore or lonely,"
She hugs me. "Well if the way you say that I am not lonely then you won't be lonely either."
I chuckle. "Okay."

"I need to end this before we both get super hurt," I say to Daniel.
His eyes are bewildered. "Rose, don't-"
"Sorry," I walk to the door.
"Is this really the bullshit your pulling off?"
I turn around. "This is not bullshit. I don't love you and I hate that, so I know you deserve better,"
He walks towards me. "You're going back to Luke?"
"No,"
"That is the bullshit, you are going back to him. He has a girlfriend Rose,"
"I am not going back to him,"
"You want to be honest with me? Why are you lying to me right now?"
"Because he will reject me," I say. I open the door and quickly run away. I want to put an end to this. Shayla spots me and yells at me. "You okay?" she hugs me.
"Yes, let's go."

February:

Luke's Point of View

It is my second week at rehab. I already gone through the withdrawal symptoms before I got here so I am just focusing on staying sober and changing.
Mrs. Richards comes by as some of us watch a movie together. I am standing on the far corner of the room.
"How are you Mr. Newman?" she asks.
"I'm well,"
"There is a young woman named Rose in my office, she says it is urgent,"
"Yes I know her. Is everything okay? I thought I couldn't have visits until next week,"
She nods. "Come along."
We walk to her office and I see Rosalie standing by her desk.
"I think this will help you with your self esteem and other decisions you need to make to better yourself. You have 5 minutes with her," Mrs. Richards leaves.
I quickly walk towards Rosalie. "You okay? Is my dad or Daniel in trouble?"
She shakes her head no. "I just couldn't wait to tell you that I cant get over you. I swear that I am going crazy because it is logical that we shouldn't be together,"
My heart aches. "You love me?"
She nods.
I get her hand. "Why?"
Her eyes wonder up and lock on mine. "You are very passionate about what you do even if it can get in the way of your goal. You are a handsome man. You made me feel so wanted and sensual when you made me yours,"
I touch her cheek. "Shush, I am not well right now."
"I know but I guess this is good for both of us. You can take the guilt away that you have and I feel free. I guess if we don't end up together; I won't be stuck with these feelings and thoughts. I don't want to feel like the old Rose. She didn't like to talk about anything. I felt plain because I felt like if I said the things I went through that people were gonna feel sorry for me and treat me like a kid."
I nod. "Those are the things that make your character and personality."
She smiles. "Yeah."
"I am happy to see you but are you sure about Daniel?"
"He is the right man for me but I don't deserve him. I can be happy with him but I cant see myself in love with him,"
"You did right. Even if I don't like him, he doesn't deserve that. I learned that he has been a good cousin but I always had to ruined it,"
She hugs me. "Guess I just made it harder for a family reunion huh?"
Her scent is so refreshing. Her warmth is so inviting.
"Um, Luke," Rosalie says, "is it really appropriate?" Then I feel it. I am fucking turned on. Great.
"Two minutes Mr. Newman," the door opens lightly and closes. I can hear heels moving. She left again.
I step back. "I guess this is goodbye?"
"For now if you like," she looks down as her cheeks turn pink. She notices me and quickly walks to the door. She wants me too.
I quickly go to her and go behind her. She gasps as my hands go to her breasts.
"Do you want me to continue?" I ask.
"But Luk-"
I let her go but remain behind her. "Yes or no?"
"Yes," her voice is so sensual yet shy. She is still the same Rose.
I unbuckle my jeans and tell her to take off hers.
I see pink panties as she takes the pants and boots off. She keeps her socks on. I get her hips and dig my nails in. She gasps again but I cover her mouth. "We can't caught,"

"By the way Luke, your father contacted me regarding your cousin,"
"And?"
"They decided to sell Gordon's,"

"But what about the people and the reputation and-"
"I believe that is not your problem. You shouldn't worry is what your father said. He wanted you to know first before you read it in the newspaper or somewhere else,"
I nod. Did Daniel just give up? Is it because of Rose? Or maybe the company had its run. There wasn't anything he or I could have done then.
"Off you go then. See you tomorrow in counseling,"
"Bye," I lightly smile. I head to my room and lay in bed. Everything is settling in its place. I smile. Shit, that was great. Rosalie is great. Ha. I guess I got a early Valentine's gift.
I wish I can talk to her. I hope she comes back.
