Delivery

Luke is standing next to Daniel. They are coming inside our home.
"Hi," Daniel sets his suitcase on the floor. I rub my round stomach and smile at him. He looks great as always. His blue eyes sparkle now.
"Thank you for letting me in," he says.
"What brings you here?" I close the door.
"He is visiting my dad but his hotel got booked by accident," Luke answers.
"I can go somewhere else," Daniel says.
Luke shrugs. "So? You're staying,"
I chuckle. "Sorry he is trying this new thing for therapy. He hasn't allowed me to wash the dishes because he wants to be more helpful around the house,"
"So you're trying not to be an asshole?" Daniel asks.
"Sure," Luke walks into the kitchen.
I get closer to Daniel. I don't feel any negative energy from him. "Let me get your room ready,"
He gets my hand. It makes my heart jump a bit. "I want to say sorry. I didn't  think about you when  we had sex. I couldnt imagine the worry you had not knowing who was the father. I never meant harm," he frowns.
I look at him and my heart warms up. "It is fine. We are all okay. I am happy you are being successful with everything," I get my hand back.
He nods. "Of course. Then let me help Luke. He said he wanted to make dinner. That man can cooked to save his own life,"
"What about me?" Luke's head pops out. Daniel smirks. "You suck at cooking,"
Luke smiles. I know he is trying to be nice. "Thanks."
I just giggle and fix the guest room.

Daniel has been staying with us for a week now. It sort of feels nice. I feel like a family.
"Hey let me go get some snacks," Luke says as he walks out of the kitchen with Daniel and Charlie.
"Okay then I'm going for Dan and mom," Charlie nods.
"I will stay and finish the peppers," Daniel says.
I sit on the couch. "Movie night?"
"Yes," they all say.
"Dont forget brownies!" I tell Luke.
He chuckles and kisses me. "Of course."
I look down at my big belly. She is almost here.
"Let's  go then," Charlie takes Luke and they leave. Daniel goes back to the kitchen. I put on some Bobby Flay and relax.
My mouth waters as Bobby pulls out the roast. The baby kicks my left side. Ouch!
I poke her. "Don't  do-"
I feel a lot of pressure on my lower part. Okay. This baby is just moving around.
"Hey do you want something to drink?" Daniel yells.
"Ye-yeah! Water!"
Darn. I'm getting Braxton Hicks again. (Fake contractions)
Ow. Ow! I just breathe.
Daniel comes by and hands me the water. "You okay?"
I nod. He goes back to the kitchen. I drink the water but it doesnt help. By the time Bobby says goodbye; my stomach becomes hard and I need to pee!
I try to get up but pee myself. Darn it!!!
"Luke called and said there is a crash by-" Daniel looks at me. I quickly hide my pee stain. "What's wrong?"
I breathe. "Just braxton hicks. I've been getting them recently. It is okay."
He sits next to me. You sure? You are getting sweaty."
Oh shit! Another contraction! I grunt.
"Let me help. You need to change," Daniel sees me and my face turns red. It is embarrassing! But i really need to get up. I feel like i need to pee again.
"Help me please," i whisper.
He gets my hand and we start walking but pain travels everywhere. I almost fall but Daniel catches me.
"Lay down," Daniel puts me on the floor.
"Ouch! It-it hurts. Oh gosh!"
Daniel looks at me. "I dont think these are hicks Rose. You said you gotten them recently?"
I nod. "But i called the doctor. The contradictions werent getting strong and they were apart."
"How about today?"
I shrug. "I have but now they are closer."
"We need to go to the hospital now, can you make it to the car?"
I nod. "I think."
I sit on the floor. My baby kicks me again. But then i feel more wet.
"Umm, I think you're water broke Rose,"
I look down at my pants and they are soaked. "My baby is coming!"

It all happened to quick. I saw her. She was so gross and bloody. Her cries were so loud. She was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen though. She was mine. She was our baby.

Luke's Point of View

I can't take it. I need to see Rose. It has been 2 hours.
Charlie pats my back. "My mom says you should go eat. We can stay,"
"No. I am not hungry,"
"You need to eat man. What about Hazel? She needs her dad to be strong,"
I chuckle. "You're sister is so weird. I wanted her to be named Christina."
Charlie smiles. "Too many of those."
I roll my eyes.
"Luke!" Dan yells. We run to the doctor. Rosalie's mom is crying. What the hell?
"Is my sister okay?"
The doctor nods. "The bleeding has stopped and she is stable now."
My legs are wobbly. Oh thank goodness!
"Thank you," i smile.
Charlie hugs his mom. Dan hugs me. "Go see her," he says.
I nod and follow the doctor. She leads me to a room and I open the door. Rose is sleeping soundly. She looks so peaceful. I quietly get closer to her and sit on her bed side. "Did you see her?" Her voice fills the room. Her eyes are tired but still beautiful.
"Yes," I smile.
"I thought I wasnt going to see her anymore," she whispers.
I jump and take her hand. "Don't say that,"
She frowns. "I was so weak. I freaked out but-but Daniel saved me."
I nod. "Of course. He loves you and the baby. He knows that I am in love with you. He knows that I would have done the same,"
She chuckles. "She has his eyes; well, your mom"s eyes. Daniel told me."
I nod. "He is my cousin."
I kiss her cheek. "I love you,"
I do. I really do.
"I love you too," she smiles in between tears.
There's a knock on the door. "Can we come in?"
"Mom!" Rose yells. Her mom quickly comes in and hugs her. "Dont ever scare me like that missy,"
"Sorry,"
Charlie and Dan come in. They also hug Rose. I get my phone and call my dad. "We are on our way. Daniel is with me. He is happy Rose is well."
"Thanks. I will see you here,"
"And son,"
"What?"
"Buy that woman a ring already," dad hangs up.
Maybe I will.
Hazel joins the party later. She is quiet and sleeping in Rose's arms. Her brown hair is straight as her mom's. She has white soft skin. She is just a copy of Rose.
I can see she has stolen Rose's heart. It doesnt belong to me enterily. I am fine with that.
