I walked fast, just wanting to get out of there. I couldn't be there any longer. Footsteps followed quickly behind me. Quickly I spun around. "Alec leave me the hell alone!!" I glared.

A man sighs. "I'm not Alec," he said with a sigh.

"Then who are you," I glared.

"Demetri. My name is Demetri," he sighed.

"What are you doing here Demetri," my eyes hard.

"I heard you screaming. I saw you come out of Alec's room. You looked upset so I decided to follow you to make sure you were... okay and all. Not injured," he said looking at me.

"And why do you care?" I pressed my fingers on my temples. "I'm just a person who you guys can kick around... have a little fun with," I mumbled.

"What do you mean?" he asking taking a step towards me.

"Nothing... I just... nothing," I closed my eyes.

"Talk to me. You're just confused," he sighs.

"Confused?! I'm confused?!?! I am NOT confused. I want to get out of here. I don't want to be around people who have hurt me... who have killed my family. I don't want to be around you people," tears formed in my eyes. "I have to go."

He looked down. "Izzy I can't let you leave," he said.

"Please. Just let me go. You don't even care. Please just let me go. Please," I whispered.

"Let's just go for a walk okay? Get some fresh air," he said. "And if you still don't want to come back I won't force you." he sighs.

"Okay," I nodded.

He held his hand out. Hesitantly, I took it.

He led me out. I was quite silent. "Be honest. Caius says I look beautiful, but... I have no hair, a nasty scar on the back of my head. I'm not beautiful," I whispered.

"First of all, your scar is badass and if anyone... outside of the castle asks just make up a badass story. Say three men came up... and traped you, but you beat their asses. But you hit your head and needed surgery," he said.

I laughed. "Oh my god Demetri. That doesn't even sound realistic! Does someone like me look like they could beat up one guy... but three?" I shook my head.

"Maybe not, but it's possible," he laughed.

"In superhero land," I chuckled.

"Maybe you are superhero," he raised his brow.

"Me... a superhero... more like a meek human who has no memory," I chuckled awkwardly. "Plus, I don't even have any superpowers, don't superheroes have superpowers?"

"They could," he said, "Or they couldn't."

"You're impossible," I laughed.

He chuckled.

"I honestly don't see why people don't like you," he said. "You're nice, beautiful, you have a good sense of humor. Caius is really lucky to have you," he said.

I blushed. "Are you trying to flirt with me?"

"No," he laughed a bit. "I'm saying he's lucky. You're a darling person and I don't know why somebody would want to hurt you."

"Who would want to hurt me?"

"Possibly Aro, Felix, I doubt Marcus would lay a hand on you. I know I wouldn't hurt you. Jane wouldn't either, she adores you. Maybe some lower down guards? They have less control than us. But yet again... I saw you walking to the throne room. You were crying. I didn't want to bother you. You seemed quite upset. The only one that was in the throne room was..." he looked down.
