Five

I woke up, my back utterly burning. Oh gosh I remember what happened. I was whipped. I have to get out of here.

I stood up my legs shaking, I used the blanket to cover me. No one was currently in the room. I wobbled to the door the blanket wrapped around me snug. I had underwear on and that was about it.

The door was unlocked. I headed down leaving the castle, heading out. I felt very weak and dizzy.

I looked around walking down the sidewalk wanting to go to the police.

I took three more steps, collapsing to the floor, passing out.

ALEC P.O.V

Feeding time was over. I hated to leave her. She didn't deserve that. It was her first time. Hell she should've gotten 10 at the most, but I'm not Aro and I don't control what happens.

I headed back to my room to check up on her. I opened the door and looked at the bed. She was gone. I headed to the bathroom. She was nowhere to be found. "Izzy!" I called out worried. Where on Earth could she have gone. She was barely able to walk when she fell asleep.

I closed my eyes and followed her scent. Her trail ended outside about half a mile from the castle. "No," I gasped seeing people surround her. Please tell me she isn't dead.

I headed over to the crowd shoving through the people to get her. I carefully checked her pulse. There was a very faint pulse, but she was still alive. An ambulance arrived shortly.

"Let me in. I'm her boyfriend," I said as they strapped her to the gurney.

"Fine... do you know what happened?" He asked.

"No... I was at my house. She texted me something was wrong and I came here, she just collapsed," I sighed sitting down.

"Whats her name?" He asked.

"Izzy," he said.

"Is there any mental health issues?" He asked.

"No... well not that I am aware of anyway," I looked at him. "She is deaf..."

He nodded and placed an IV in her arm and got fluids started. We got to the hospital very quickly. They pulled her out of the ambulance taking her back. A team of doctors working on her.

I was forced to stay out in the waiting room. I began to pace looking at the clock. Seconds became minutes. Minutes became hours. I didn't think she was going to make it.

After four hours the doctor came out to me.

"Who is here for Izzy?" the doctor spoke.

"Me," my head snapped towards him as soon as he spoke.

"Come with me," he said, taking be back to Izzys room. She was hooked up to many tubes and wires. "Alright. I have some bad news. Izzy here is in A coma, despite all the medication we tried. We do not know when she will wake up or even if she will wake up," he spoke. "Do you know how she got that injury on her back?"

"No," I responded.

He sighs. "It was severe. We had to do a skin graft, It looked like a form of torture... whipping maybe? I've never seen an injury like that the 36 years I've worked here."

I looked down feeling guilty.

"Does she have parents we can call?" He asks.

"No," I said.

"Any family?" He asked sighing.

"No. I'm her only family," I looked down sadly.

"If there is anyone we can call let us know," he sighs and left the room.

I headed over to the door shutting it and locking it. Then I headed over to Izzy, biting my wrist pressing it down to her mouth trying to get her to drink from me.

I had her drink for a long time until I began to feel weak.

There were no  signs of changes. "Come on girl wake up," I whispered.

There was no response. No movement, just shallow breathing.

I sighed knowing I had to tell Aro. I kissed her forehead. "Stay strong darling," I whispered and unlocked the door leaving. "Let me know if there is any changes. Call me," I told the doctor and gave him my cell number and left the hospital.

I never felt more guilty in my entire life. I can't believe she is in a coma. Aro is going to be so pissed.

I entered the throne room. "Aro..." I sighed.

"What?" He asked.

"The girl is in a coma... I'm sorry," I said.

He looked down tense nodding. "Let me know when she's awake," he said.

"I will Sir," I sighed.

"Thank you for the update," he sighs seeming to be stressed out. I walked out of the throne room going up to my room.
