Scott's P.O.V.
"how long have you been a teacher? You look fairly young?" Alex asked before taking a bite of the chicken he had cooked for tonight "Um about three years?" he answers although it came out as more of a question than a statement "he's been really helpful since I got here" I answer with a sly smirk making Mitch glare at me "what do you teach?" asked Alex
"Choir"
"You sing? Scott didn't tell me that"
Mitch chuckled "yeah well he didn't tell you a lot of things," he says taking a sip of his iced tea
I clear my throat "wow okay um Mitch weren't you gonna tell Alex about the junior trip?" I say raising a non-existent eyebrow "you're completely right gosh it just slipped my mind" he says with the fakest smile I've ever seen anyone wear. "Basically each year the Juniors take a trip to Los Angeles, California to give them a chance to bond with each other before graduation we leave a week after finals and return to Texas a week later," he says.
"That's so cool I wish they would've had that when I was in High School," Alex says with a chuckle I nod in agreement "we were gonna recruit ole Scotty here to be a chaperone with a few other teachers and myself," Mitch says eyeing me "y-yeah that sounds like it could be fun" I answer with a small smile
"yeah you should do it babe gives you a chance to get to know the students," Alex says with a bright smile
"oh he's getting to know them alright," Mitch says taking a bite of his food
Alex gave him a flustered look "whats that supposed to mean?" he asked I laughed nervously "nothing it just means that the students are very fond of Mr.Hoying" Mitch answered with a smile
"right" Answers Alex with a sigh
I groan just wanting this night to be over already
