A/N hi you guys! I was going to update a lot sooner but had a lot of unexpected travels come up and just never got around to it so I apologize about that 😂

Alex sat in the chair across from me he had a concerned look in his eyes as I thought up of a good way of what I was about to tell him he returned from his trip earlier than expected and I just couldn't keep doing this to him and myself anymore "you know that lately, our relationship hasn't been in the best terms" he nods "I was doing some thinking while you were gone and-"
"you want to break up," he says finishing for me I sighed "Yes I'm sorry" I run a hand through my hair before continuing "I just don't feel the same anymore" he nods "I completely understand to be frank neither have I " he says we both gave out a light-hearted chuckle
"so are we good then?" I asked he nods and smiles "yeah we're good," he says reaching across the table and holding my hand I gave him a small smile at his actions.

Once I was in my car I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sent Mitch a quick text message

I finally did it! I broke up with Alex.
Soon after the message bubbles appeared indicating he was typing back a response

At Kirstin's packing for the school trip which is exactly what you should be doing. 🙄

I chuckle and lock my cell phone before starting up the engine of my car and making my way towards my shared apartment with Alex.
He'll be staying at a friends house mean while he finds somewhere to live his things are packed for the most part considering he's always traveling.
I smiled as I thought about all the possibilities this new chapter in my life could bring me
