"I'm not sure this is such a good idea Mitch" Kirstie said taking a sip from her Starbucks drink "why not? It's not like anything bad is going to happen" I told her rolling my eyes, she shook her finger at me "I feel like someone is going to get hurt from this whole this and when I get this feeling I'm usually always right"
I simply shrugged my shoulders "it's not like it was my idea kit" she rolled her eyes at me "yeah but you didn't have to go along with it! Who knows what this kid intention is"
"He seems really nice Kit I don't think he'd be the type to hurt anyone" she crossed her arms around her chest "oh really now? Then tell me why Jake said Adriel punched him? Now half the football team is after him"
My eyes widened in shock "he punched him?!" She nodded "he punched his stomach and kneed him where the sun don't shine" she laughed "it was honestly the highlight of my day!"
"Why did he punch him?" She shrugged her shoulders "I don't know. I figured he would've told you" I shook my head "I tried asking him but he wouldn't tell me anything; he has a black eye" she sighed shaking her head "poor thing, he probably had his reasoning for doing it though" she said I nodded agreeing with her
The bell rang signaling the end of 7th period. Kirstie and I walked out with our drinks in hand "I'll see you later Kit I have detention with Mr.mood swing Hoying again" I told her rolling my eyes

"I still don't know what was so bad with my original paper" I told Mr.Hoying crossing my arms over my chest as he walked towards my desk
"You missed the concept of the book, you're going to re-read the beginning of The Scarlet Letter and re-write the essay" he said leaning staring me down I rolled my eyes and sighed starting to read the book in front of me
"Mitch?" I looked up from the book and saw him sitting down in the desk next to me "yes Mr.Hoying?" He looked like he was thinking really hard about something "do you love your boyfriend?" The question surprised me and took me back a little "um I think that's inappropriate" I said with a nervous chuckle
"Oh I think we're way past appropriate" He said with a smirk "good point" he laughed at my answers he got serious again "seriously do you love him?" He asked again, I sighed "I don't know it's too early in the relationship to tell" he nodded at my answer
He looked down at the ground and them started smiling he looked up me with the same smile "Mr.Hoying are you ok-" he interrupted me by kissing me and I suddenly forgot everything I was going to say all I was focused on was this man that was in front of me
