"Your honor this is clearly a sick man who used his position to manipulate my client, furthermore-"
"Objection your honor!" My attorney says rising to my defense
"Sustain"
"Your honor" Brian says buttoning up his blazer as he prepares to speak "my client didn't have any wrong doing, the legal age of consent in the state of Texas is seventeen years old. Mr. Grassi clearly knew what he was doing when he made sexual advances towards my client"
"Objection!"
"Overruled, counsellor please proceed" the judge argues to my waiting attorney he nods "Mr. Hoying says there was a time Mr. Grassi made countless sexual advances towards my client sir"
the judge turns his head in my direction "were the advances ever reported to your supervisor?" I turn my head to my attorney, waiting on any type of signal to indicate that it was okay to answer.
"No sir I was too embarrassed to share this with anyone" I answer the recalling the time my bulge had stabbed Mitch's lower back.
"Can you explain to this court room what was it that happened?" The judge says I nod in response
"there was a time I had given Mr. Grassi a detention for using vulgar language in my classroom, when he came to serve it he asked if I could help him with a paper I had assigned to the class that day and he continued to um touch my crotch"
"Objection!"
"In what grounds counsellor?" Judge Brown asked taking off his glasses looking annoyed.
"It's irrelevant to the issue being discussed rather the incident happened or not there is no concrete evidence being presented in his behalf that concludes that my client did any of those things!"
Mitch stares at me as his attorney continues to speak on his behalf he gives me a small smile and turns his head away
"I would like to call Mr. Grassi to the stand your honor" Brian says to the judge
"Objection!"
"Overruled"
"5 minute recess counsellors and when we return Mr. Grassi will take the stand" he says hitting his gable and exiting the court room.
Mitch wouldn't let me down. I know he won't.
