Mitch's p.o.v
"Do you think he's mad at you?" Kirstie says clutching her books closely to her chest listening to me as I explained the situation with Mr.Hoying and Adriel not speaking to me "I think so. I don't know why he would be mad though" I say shrugging my shoulders "do you want my honest opinion Mitch?" Kirstie asked I nod waiting on her response "he likes you" I laugh "I doubt it he knows we're just strictly friends I told him that after he kiss-" I cut my self off realizing what had happened "fuck!" how could I have been so blind?
"I knew this whole 'pretend to be my boyfriend so our teacher realizes he has feelings for you' was a bad idea from the start I warned y'all" I glare at Kirstin "now is not the time" I say slightly annoyed she shrugged her shoulders "hey I'm just saying don't be mad at me" she says making me roll my eyes
"are you going to talk to him?" she asked "Adriel?" I question she nods "Uh, if I see him yeah" I say shrugging my shoulders "well it's your lucky day" she says with a bright smile. I furrow my eyebrows at her "what do you mean?" I asked confused she turned her head to the side mine following her actions to see Adriel speaking to a guy I had seen once before, Adriel was smiling brightly and laughing at something he had said
"Talk to him" she says shoving me towards the two guys "Kirstie!" I say through gritted teeth but noticed she had already ran away.
I watched him nervously and decided on walking up to him "uh hey"I say to him both men starring at me "can I talk to you?" I ask Adriel "go ahead" he says "alone" I say shifting my gaze to the guy with him "I'll text you later" The guy says in a thick accent Adriel nods
"what do you want?" he asked crossing his arms over his chest "to apologize" I mumble playing with the zipper of my hoodie "for what exactly?" he asked "for um-uh-"
"use your words Mitch!" he snaps annoyed with me I flinch taken back at his tone with me "for messing with your feelings towards me. Im sorry" I mumble starring at the floor
he chuckled causing to look up at him confused "what feelings? I don't have feelings towards you" he says mumbling something else under his breath that was inaudible
"but that kiss-"
"meant nothing all part of the plan remember? The deal is over you got your man you can leave me the fuck alone now" he says starting to walk off
"Adriel!" I exclaim he stops but doesn't look back
"Mr.Grassi may I speak with you?" Scott says Adriel scoffs shaking his head and walks off leaving me confused with what just happened.
