Adriel's p.o.v.
"Adriel please I-"
"Not now Mitch!" I say cutting him off. "Why don't you go with your boyfriend? I'm sure he's waiting on you" I say walking away from him.
"So that's it?!" He says grabbing my arm stopping me "this is about Scott?" He asked I shook my head "no Mitch, I just think we should stop talking for a little while".
"Adriel what do I-"
"Adriel hey!" A voice says cutting off Mitch. I turn towards the source of the voice to find that it belonged to none other than Juan Luis.
"Hey Juan Luis" I say with a sigh taking my arm away from Mitch grasps "what do you need?"
"I actually need to talk to you about something really quickly" He says looking in between Mitch and I. I nod "sure" I look back at Mitch and mutter a "see you later" to him before leaving with a Juan Luis.
"What did you need?" I asked walking beside him he smiled "nothing. It just seemed like you needed to leave that conversation" I didn't say anything and continued walking.
"I want to take you on a date"
"What?"
"I want to take you on a date"
"You don't even know me"
"Well I can get to know you. What do you say?"
I thought about it and I really have nothing to lose I can use him as a distraction to forget about Mitch. "Yeah, sure, fuck it" I say with a laugh.
"Are you free on Friday?" I nod "I know this great Mexican place we can go to. Here" he says handing me his phone "give me your number so I can text you" I put mine in and text myself so I can have his and hand it back to him.
He smiles "okay. See you Friday?" I nod "definitely"
"Bye Juan Luis"
