Who is my Guardian Angel?

**** Aria's POV *****

I woke up in the hospital to the doctor saying, "serious concussion." 

Blackness. 

"Shawn?" I called.

I was in a graveyard.

"Cameron?" 

Suddenly, Carter walked towards me in a black shirt and black pants.

"Oh, Carter. I'm so glad to see you!" I said as I hugged him. 

"Aria, you need to see something," he said grimly.

We walked towards a tombstone that read 'Alessandra Black.' 

"I'm dead?" I whispered. 

"Yes, you died jumping out of that car."

"That's impossible. Shawn chased after me," I said. 

"He died too," he said, pointing to the tombstone next to mine.

"Oh my god," I exclaimed. "Are you the grim reaper?"

"No, I'm your guardian angel."

"Really? I would have thought Shawn or Nash would be," I said.

"Hey, your subconscious, not mine." 

"So, what's the afterlife like?" I asked.

He smiled and said, "secret, but you'll find out soon enough."

"What do you mean?" I asked. "I thought I was already dead."

"Nah, you're just dreaming. You'll wake up soon in a hospital room."

Carter then began to walk away. 

"No, wait, Carter!"

"What? I'm going to miss Angel Basketball if I don't hurry!" 

"Wait, who do I choose? Shawn or Cameron?" I asked. 

"Aria, you already chose Cameron. If you're not content, then choose Shawn."

"But I like them both."

"Yes, you do, but you only LOVE one," he said.

I awoke, but my eyes remained shut. I tried to move them, but they were glued closed. 

"Death isn't an option, Mr. Mendes," the doctor said. 

"She's not waking up!" he screamed. 

"Honey, calm down," Carol Mendes said soothingly.

"God, how can I calm down when she hasn't moved in four days!"

Blackness. 

BEEP BEEP!

"What?" I said as I woke up from the floor of a cabin.

"Aria, you're awake!" Nash exclaimed.

"Where am I?"

"Oh, I don't know. Your dream."

"This is another dream? Ugh," I mumbled.

"I'm your guardian angel, Nash-"

"No way, Carter's my guardian angel," I interrupted.
