Lauren's POV

"Lauren?"

"Lauren?"

"Sorry. What were you saying?" I ask. I am not feeling good. My nose is still bleeding and I feel like fainting.

"Do you want to sit down? You look pale." Claire says.

"Yes please." She gets a chair and I sit down. Still with my head above the sink.

"Do we need to call someone? Your parents must be worried." I know she probably should call Marcus but I know I am never leaving that apparment again.

"Lauren shall I call someone?" Claire asks again because I didn't really respond.

"Yes you can call my brother." I tell her the number and she calls.

Marcus's POV

Collin and I are outside looking for Lauren. I can't believe she has run away again. The previous time she was lucky but this is a big city, and only more danger. It almost would be better to lock her in her room.

My phone rings and I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi is this a parent of Lauren?" A women says.

"I am her brother who is this. Where is she?"

"She is in my house. I am Claire. I met her at counseling." The women says.

"Is she okay?"

"She has a bleeding nose and is not feeling very well because of it. But other then that she is okay. My son found her wondering in the woods and brought her here." Claire asks.

"Where do you live? We're coming." The women gives my her adress and I begin to walk.

"Do you know where she is?" Collin asks. I just nod and he follows me to the house.

After ten minutes of walking we arrive and I knock loud on the door. The door opens and I see the same guy I saw at the counseling.

"Where is she?" I ask him while walking inside the house.

"Kitchen." He says and points at a door.

Collin and I walk inside the kitchen and see Lauren sitting on a chair with her head above the sink.

"Lauren what were you thinking!?" I almost scream at her. "It is the middle of the night and you decide to go out of the appartment. Are you crazy!?"

"Marcus not know we can talk about this at home." Collin says to me. He is right.

"Do you guys want something to drink?" Claire asks.

"No I think we should head home with our little monster." Collin says.

"Yes but her nose is still bleeding so I think you should wait." Claire says.

"Alright then." Collin sits down and I sit next to him.

"You guys want coffee?" The boy asks.

"Sure." Collin says and I nod.

"Marcus?" Lauren says softly.

"Yes?"

"I think I am going to faint." She says.

I walk towards her and hold her. She then faints. Her head hangs and she almost falls of the chair.

"Collin help me lay her down." Collin quickly stands up and he grabs her feet. We lay her down on the ground.

"Can someone grab a wet towle?" The boy grabs a wet towle and gives it to me. I lay it down on her head to cool her off. After a couple minutes that seem like hours she opens her eyes. I am relieved of course.

"Hey how are you feeling?" Collin asks.

"Weird. Where are we?" She says.

"We're at Claires house. You walked away again. But we're going home now, okay?" I say.

"Okay." She says. We help her stand up and I lift her up in my arms. She rests her head on my chest.
We thank Claire and her son and walk to our home.

"What are we going to do about her?" Collin asks.

"I don't know but she needs to talk about it. Because this isn't working." Collin nods and we walk further with Lauren in my arms. Luckly it isn't far from our house.

I lay her down on her bed. I decide she isn't going to school. I throw the sheets on her and walk back to my room.

I wonder about dad. Is he looking for us or maybe he doesn't care. Maybe he likes that we're gone.

My door slowly opens and Jeffrey walks in.
"Hey bud."

"Hi why were you guys out?" Jeffrey asks.

"Lauren was out again." I say.

"I don't understand why she does that all the time. I mean it doesn't help her. Everytime something happens to her. Doesn't she get that we worry about her?" Jeffrey says while sitting down on my bed.

"I don't think she is herself right now." I say.

"But why doesn't she talk to us. She knows we are here for her."

"I don't know why she doesn't talk to us but she is going to counseling so I hopr it will get better."

"I hope so too." He says while standing up.

"Oh Jeff she is not going to school tommorow." He nods and walk to his own room.
