Hands off

Don't come home

I start to scream and hit the person behind me.

''Lauren stop it's me.'' I hear a familair voice say. I turn around and see Caleb standing infront of my. 

''I am sorry I didn't want to scare you.'' He says while weaping away a tear from my face.

''It's okay.'' I say.

''I am really sorry, let's go inside.'' Caleb takes my hand and leads me inside. He locks the door behind him and we walk further into the kitchen. He lifts me up and places me on the counter. I'm now his height.

''I'm really sorry.'' He says again.

''I'm sorry for hitting you.'' I leand forwards to kiss him and he did the same.

Richard comes in the kitchen.
"Is everything alright? I heard screams."

"Yes it's okay. I was trying to surprise Lauren but I scared her instead." Caleb says.

"Then don't do that again." Richard says pointing a finger to Caleb. He nods and gives me a hug.

"Well I should help with the cleaning." Caleb removes his arms and helps me of the counter.

After 15 minutes everything is done and I can go home.

"Should I give you a ride?" Caleb asks.

"Okay I'll tell Collin that he doesn't have to pick me up." I take out my phone and send Collin a text. ''lets go.''

We walk to Caleb's car. I hear my Phone ringing and pick it up. I see it's Collin.

''Hey Collin, did  you get my text?''

'' Yes but you can't come home.'' he says very quickly.

''Why not?'' 

''You just can't come home. I got to go bye.'' 

Collin ends the call and I am just really surprised by what just happened. Why can't I go home? Did I do something that my brothers don't want to see me anymore? 

''Everything okay?'' Caleb asks while looking at me with his beautiful eyes.

''No, Collin just said that I can't come home.''

''Why not?'' 

''I have no idea.'' I try to make sence of it but I just don't get it. If I did something wrong they would lecture me about it and not just throw me out of the house.

''Well it's getting cold. We'll just go to my house and then we'll try to find out what is going on, okay?'' Caleb takes my hands and leads me to the car.

''Okay.''

We get into the car and drive to Caleb's house. When we get into the house Caleb's father comes running down the stairs and hugs us both. 

''Dad I love you to but why are you doing this?'' Caleb asks after a moment.

''We were so worried.'' Ethan says.

''Dad I told you I was going to Lauren, why were you worried?'' Caleb asks while Ethan releases us from his grip.

''Lauren your dad escaped from prison, he killed two quards.'' WHAT! He got out? 

''W-what? W-why?'' I lean against the wall and slowly let myself glide to the ground. He escaped! He barely was there. Is this why Collin wanted me to come home. 

I feel tears slowly falling down from my eyes. Caleb kneels infront of me and cups my cheeks. 

''It's going to be okay, I'll be with you.'' Caleb almost whispers.
