Screams. Screams filled the night air as a deafening crash was heard, and the rain slowly started to once again pelt the already slick streets. The gleaming dark blue Ford vehicle had crashed into a dumpster that had been sitting in the middle of the road. The hit sent the dumpster flying across the road and swerving until it fell onto its side. The impact had been big, considering the driver of the car was already having difficulties with the slippery streets under his tires.

The window shield was cracked, but not really broken, but now more vulnerable than it was before. The driver lay motionless after he had taken his last breaths, and the girl inside the dumpster was still struggling to survive.

Naomi felt around her in the sea of garbage, she put in all her energy to clamber over to the garbage bags and crawl out from inside the dump. She had a few scratches here and there, along with a couple bruises. Finally, when she could stand up, she staggered and fell back down onto the damp streets as a sharp pain shot through her leg. She'd hurt her leg somehow, and sprang her ankle.

The storm brewed once again, stirring up thunder and lightning in the sky as rain drizzled down and trickled around her face and around the sides of the deep blue Ford. She wondered if it was a possibility to just lay there and wait for somebody to come along and find her. But her intentions quickly changed when an eerie sound rang through her ears like a haunting melody.

      Teke....Teke....Teke....

Naomi looked around, heart racing, for the source of the sound. But realizing she had no time to waste, she stood up, but to no avail. She just went back down. The noise was getting closer and closer. The monster wasn't very far, and from what she's seen so far, it could reach her in less than a minute. She felt tears brim in her eyes as she looked around, when her eyes landed on the vehicle close to her, and a spark of hope ignited inside her.

Naomi made her way to the car on her palms and dragged her feet along. Funny, she heard a sound similar to the one she was making not too far away.

The Teke Teke dragged itself along out of the alleyway, slick black hair shading her eyes. She slowly made her way onto the street, using her hands and sometimes her elbows to claw her way along while dragging her top half. She eyed the car crash, then the familiar form moving across the road to get to the blue vehicle. She narrowed her eyes and started to move a little faster, seeing how vulnerable the little girl was now.

Naomi felt her arms ache as if extra weight was forced upon them, and she started to struggle with moving. She couldn't crawl, because then she'd be on her knees and seeing how they were badly bruised and cut that was not an option. She couldn't turn on her stomach and make her way forward, because that would involve moving her ankle a little too much, and it already hurt now and then the way she was moving now.

Once Naomi made it to the car, she reached out for the handle and gripped it firmly. Once she took a good hold of it, she pulled and the door of the driver's seat opened, also revealing the driver in the process. Naomi screamed, seeing the blood trickle down the dead man's forehead as his lifeless eyes stared straight at her.

        Tek..Tek...Tek..Tek...

Naomi desperately tried to slow down her erratic breathing, but the attempts were fruitless. An idea quickly popped into her head and she made her way around the side of the car, around the front, not the back. As she slowly passed the headlights, she saw a glimpse of a disfigured body making its way towards her. Naomi finally made it to the passenger's seat and pulled on the handle of the door, as much as she dreaded the idea of being close to a dead body, once the door opened, she desperately climbed in and shut the car door behind her.
