Shanice and I walked around the mall looking for me something to wear for the weekend. Chris turned our date night into a 2 night getaway. I was nervous but excited.
We walked into a boutique that sold only swimsuits, something Chris told me to get. I brought a few from New York but a new one wouldn't hurt.
"So what are you guys doing during this getaway?" Shanice asked.
"I don't know, he just told me to pack."
"That's exciting and romantic. But I have to ask, you don't have to answer though, but what if you guys get caught up in the moment. Are you ready to be intimate again?"
"It's only been a week and a few days since everything happened. How would that make me look if I go sleep with somebody after that happened to me?"
"You can't let it stop you from living though Sydney. I know it's hard, but you're comfortable with Chris. If the moment happens don't stop it."
"When I'm comfortable I'll have sex. Being assaulted like that scars you. Besides Chris knows how I'm feeling I don't even think he's going to try anything."
"Well I've never been through something like that so who am I to tell you how to live."
I didn't respond to that just looked through the swimsuits. "This is cute." I said picking up a nude color two piece.
"That is cute, Chris would love to take it off I'm sure." She laughed while winking.
Rolling my eyes I put it back. "I can't believe my time in Atlanta is almost over! I'm going to miss it honestly."
"So why are you leaving? We can get an apartment together because your half of the rent will most definitely come in handy and I'm sure you don't want to mess up what you and Chris have. Stay with me best friend pleeeeease."
"Everybody wants me to stay but New York is a breath of fresh air. I will be up there lonely though."
"So move back, you know you want to."
"I'll give everybody my answer next week for sure."
"I have another question to ask."
I took a deep breath and looked at her. "Okay last question."
"How do you feel about Michael being dead, I mean that's crazy right?"
