Groaning I slowly sat up. My body felt weak and my head hurt like hell. Opening my eyes, I looked at Chris then over at his mom.

Chris got up out of his seat then walked over to me. "Relax baby, you gotta relax." He tried to touch me but I snatched away. "Sydney I'm just trying to help."

"I'm here because of you!"

"Chris." His mom called.

He exhaled while walking back over to the chair he was previously in.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Tired, my head hurts. Can they bring me some medicine?"

She pressed the nurse button next to my bed. "Sydney your blood pressure was 200 over 140. How the hell did that happen?!"

I looked at Chris. "I was at work and your son decided to come stress me out. I already wasn't feeling good today and he just added on to it. I constantly asked him to leave but he wouldn't, he called me out my name ONCE AGAIN and it pissed me off."

"Christopher."

"All I wanted to do was talk."

"Telling me that I overreacted to you cheating and calling me a bitch is what you did. You came up to my job with that nonsense."

"Didn't you come to my job and hit me with your purse while telling me I'm a trifling ass nigga?"

"Because I was approached by your ex with some bullshit!"

"You still ain't have to come to my job, you could've waited until I got home! I only came to your job because you're ignoring me. I still think you're overdoing all of this shit."

"You're pathetic! I hope you know that. Im So fucking sick of you!"

"That's enough you two! Be quiet." Mama Joyce yelled. "Your blood pressure is going right back up." She pointed to the screen next to me.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "I can't do this. I'm setting myself up for failure."

"Do what?" Chris asked.

"Us. We stay at each other's throats. If I wanna have a healthy pregnancy, I have to stay away from you."

"Well that's not an option Sydney." His mom said.

"Why not?"

"I'm leaving back for Atlanta tonight and he's the only one here to keep an eye on you. You two need to get it together. How are you going to get married if you can't stand the sight of each other? Is marriage really a good idea. The fact that you guys are bringing a baby into this scares me even more. You two need to sit down and figure some things out and honestly I think marriage should be on hold until you learn how to go a whole week without hating each other. And another thing, Sex isn't the answer." She looked at the both of us. "I have to go, my flight is in two hours and I still have to finish packing, I just wanted to make sure you were okay Sydney." She hugged me then went and hugged Chris. "Get it together." After that she left.
