Chapter 23

Lauren's POV

"Lauren wake up!" I heard Matt screaming in my ears.

"Matt what do you want. What time is it? Wait why are you up?" I asked him

"Go get ready we are going to the doctors with Taylor." He told me

"Wait why?"

"Lauren did you really think you could go this whole trip without getting checked to see if it has gotten worse?" he asked in all seriousness

"Would it be a stupid answer to say yes?"

"Yes. Now get ready we are leaving in 30 minutes."

"Thanks for the heads up."

"Welcome meet me and Tay in his room in 30 minutes. Love you." he said

"Ugh fine and love you too." I replied

Matt, Taylor and I are extremly close so when we say 'I love you' its like a brother sister kind of way not boyfriend girlfriend way.

I got up finally and got ready. I was wearing a muscle tee, with regular jean shorts and a sweatshirt.

When i was done getting ready I walked over to Taylor's room and as I was about to knock Matt opened the door and they pushed me towards the elevator. To be honest I was absolutly not looking foward to this. While on this trip I completely forgot about my cancer and it was all good, until now. Now I'm sad and just want to lay in my bed and watch movies all day.

As we pulled up into the doctors office I asked both Taylor and Matt-

"Do I have to go?"

"If you want to know if your gonna live than yes." Taylor answered

I sighed and walked into the office.

"Hello, Ms. Lauren your friends told me you need a check on your cancer is that correct?" The doctor asked

"Yes, but can this be quick, I have to get back to the hotel before all the boys and my roommate wake up?" I told/asked her

"Yes this shouldnt take that long just come with me and we will get you checked right away."

I followed her to the room and she did the usual machine things and needle poking and blood taking. Luckily nothing hasn't gotten that much worse. It has developed alittle more since I left but not at all enough to concern them. Im only stage 1 so its not as serious as other cases but still serious since I'm 16 and have cancer.

"Okay what are we doing today?" I asked all of the guys standing infront of my bed back at the hotel.

"Well, Im too lazy to do anything so I say we watch a movie. Anyone else?" Aaron asked.

"Im down." I said. Everyone else agreed and we chose Hercules because lets face it, its one of the best Disney movies ever.

Hayes' POV

We were about half way through the movie and everyone was asleep but Lauren, Matt, Taylor and I.

As soon as Carter fell asleep, he was the last one we were waiting for, we all ran to my room to plan our prank.

As we walked back into the room with our plan in tact when a huge bucket of water fell on all of us accept for Lauren. She was in the back of us 3 laughing her head off with the rest of the boys.

"How did you do that? Nevermind. Your gonna get!" I said and chased after her till I tackled her to the grond of the hotel floor and kissed her.

"Well if thats my punishment I'm gonna have to prank you more often." she said and got up and ran back to all the boys.

Man, I'm falling for her. And falling fast.
