I felt as if they were all going to blame me for not being able to save her.

I saw Sean, he smiled big at me.

"Hey man what's up?!" He bro hugged me.

"Oh I'm kind of exhausted I just walked here." I said over exaggerating my panting.

"Oh dude come in the back." I followed Sean to the back where I saw more guys and tables with food on them.

There was a two mattresses on the ground.

"Look Austin went all out on this camo tonight." He said laughing; he sure did..

"Um, yea. Where is Austin." I asked.

"He's talking his mom into going to get pizza." He said.

I walked out to a bench and say down.

Shit. Everyone looked so happy how was I going to tell them the bad news about Mary. I know they all would be devastated.

Austin came out of his house and looked at me; he smiled.

Oh god. I felt my heart beat pounding.

He walked over to a stereo and plugged his phone in. Bulls in the Bronx was playing by pierce the veil. One of my favorites.

"Hey man." He said sitting next to me.

"Hey." I replied.

"So, I wanted to say that I'm sorry." He bluntly said.

"For what?" I questioned. Is he apologizing because of the fact that he didn't like me or something?

"Well, I was really pissed at the whole Mary situation." He said.

What? Does he know? I didn't say anything I just nodded.

"You know, I just don't want to see her get hurt. And by dating you that is a huge risk." He said, he looked over at me but I could not make eye contact.

"I understand." I replied blankly with no emotion in my tone.

If he only knew the truth of her being hurt.

"So....how have you guys been doing anyways?" He smiled at me.

I looked up at him. "Good, you know she's hard to handle."

"I bet." He started laughing.

"Good luck." He patted me on the back.

God, why didn't I just tell him. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.

I got up and went to the table.

I looked at the beverages Austin had put out.

I smirked and grabbed a kapresun, what I won't be driving tonight. I thought to myself laughing at my own joke in side my head.

I sipped on it.

I don't know maybe tonight just isn't the night for me to tell them.

"Hey listen up you ugly sons of a bitches." Austin put his hands in the air.

"My mom loves you guys so much, that she's ordering pizza." He jumped in the air and so did we.

I'm not sure why but we were all overly happy about ordering pizzas.

Someone caught the corner of my eye.

I looked over and saw the one guy who had taken me home from the hospital.

I waved at him but he ignored it and didn't wave back...okay?

I saw him talking to Austin.

AUSTIN'S POV.

I had just got done announcing that my mom would go out on a limb here and by four pizzas for my friends aching hungry stomachs.

I saw Cade walk in my back yard, my home skillet biscuit on the frying pan spraying in my eyes best friend.

"Hey!!!" I said excited to see his face and happy to have him come.

Cade was always a party I didn't care what anyone said about him but he was the best; better than Sean in my personal opinion.

"Hey, is that fucking Shane over there?" He seemed aggravated and pissed off.

"Uh yes. Why?" I asked. ?

"What the fuck is he doing here?" He seemed truly angry that he was here.

"What's wrong with Shane? Is he drinking up all your favorite juice pouches." I made a joke but he didn't laugh.

"He is the one with Mary right?" He asked when he knew he was, mainly reassuring me about the weird illegal situation.

"Well yeah." I answered.

"And you know everything." He stated as a question but not really for an answer.

"Yea I think." I replied.

"And you're still okay with that, wow." He looked away.

"Dude what the hell is your problem? Shane's a good guy." I replied.

"Oh he's good now for what he did?!" He started raising his voice.

Is this biscuit really raising his voice to me in my backyard?

"But if I would have done what he did would I get praised for it?! Probably fucking not." He rolled his eyes.

"What are you talking about?" I asked in all seriousness.

"Fucking Mary over!!" He yelled.

Shane looked over.

"What about her?" I asked, he's about to get kicked out if he keeps yelling.

"He put her in the hospital!" He yelled at me.

I saw Shane's jaw drop.

What the fuck is going on here?....

Mary's in the hospital? Oh shit.

"She's in a fucking coma because of him!" He yelled madly.

"He did that to her?" My cheeks started burning with anger.

I looked over at Shane and saw him looking down at his phone.

I walked over to him and as soon as he looked up I sucker punched him.

"FIGHTTT!!!!!" Yelled Sean.

Everybody started running over to see the commotion. Everyone besides Cade.

He stood in the distance watching and smiling..?
