Starting Over Again [Sequel to The Roommates]

Chapter 16

The bell rang. "Well, gotta go now! See ya guys later!" I said & hurried to class. As I was hurrying to class, I heard Castiel say, "She doesn't miss us at all, doesn't she?" As soon as I forgot about what Castiel said, I was able to focus in class better. At lunch time, I met up with the boys. As soon as I got there, they were already talking. And there were lots of smiles & laughter as well. I went up to the group and tried talking to them. But they just completely ignored me.. "Well, I'm feeling the love" I said in my head & heaved a sigh. And sat down outside the group, by myself.

After a few minutes passed by, Ashton noticed me by myself and stepped out of the group. "Why aren't you talking with us in the group?" Ash asked "Isn't it obvious? You guys ignored me" I replied & glanced at Calum. "Even Calum didn't notice me.." I said in a low voice "Don't worry about it, it's just today. And he's trying to get to know Castiel & Nathaniel" he replied "You want them to get along, don't you?" he asked "Yes" I replied "Try talking to him after school, and if he doesn't talk to you after school, try talking to him tomorrow" he replied "Okay.." I replied.

- After School -

Me & the boys went back to our apartment. When we made it to our apartment everyone went to their rooms except me & Calum. He was just sitting on the couch watching tv. I slowly made my way towards the couch next to him. He glanced at me then looked back at the tv. "What are you doing in the other couch for? Come here" Calum said "Okay.." I replied and moved next to him. He put his arm around me. "You're not tired?" he asked "Not really" I replied "How bout you?" I asked "Nope, there's this one movie I want to watch" he replied "What movie?" I asked & looked up at him.

He smiled. "A scary movie.." Calum said "S-Scary..?" I replied "Yeah" he replied "Wanna watch it with me?" he asked "I don't know.. Scary movies aren't really my thing.." I replied "You don't like scary movies?" he asked "Pretty much.." I replied "Just watch it with me, if you get scared I'll comfort you" he replied and smiled "Promise?" I asked "Hah, promise" he replied & gave me a half smile "Okay.." I replied as he turned on the movie. Whenever a scary part showed up I would hide my face on Calum's chest as he laughed.

After the movie, it was already midnight. I yawned. I looked at Calum who was already sleep. I laid my head down on his chest and closed my eyes as I heard something from the kitchen. I panicked and lifted my head up and looked towards the kitchen. "Calum.." I whispered "Calum!" I whispered loudly and shook him. "Hm? What?" he asked "I heard something in the kitchen." I replied "I'm sure it's just in your head.. Just go to sleep" he replied as another thing fell from the kitchen. And we both popped up. "Okay, maybe it's not in your head.." Calum said "What are we gonna do?" I asked "Let's check it out" he replied "What? Are you trying to get us killed?" I asked "Well, if we don't move around we'll die within seconds" he replied "Good point, let's go" I replied.

"Stay behind me" he whispered as we both entered the kitchen. We turned on the lights but nothing or no one was there. And nothing fell either. "What's going on?" I asked then heard noise from the living room. Then we went back to the living room. But nothing was there either. And also, when we went into the living room, Calum wasn't in front or behind me. "Calum?" I whispered "Calum!" I whispered loudly. But he was nowhere to be found. I looked around the room then slowly turned around. Before I fully turned around, the person yelled, "Boo!" and I might have let out a little scream then the lights opened.

Who opened the lights was Luke, and a person was standing in front of me wearing a mask. Then I all of a sudden got serious and removed the mask to see, Michael. Then Ashton & Calum came out of the kitchen laughing along with Michael & Luke. "What the hell!" I yelled "Haha, you're reaction was priceless!" Luke laughed then Michael mimicked my reaction and laughed. "What the hell is going on?!" I yelled "Isn't it obvious? We were trying to scare you" Ashton replied as Calum laughed. "Calum? You were in on this too?" I asked "Yeah, sorry.." he replied "That's not cool, you almost gave me a heart attack!" I yelled "We're sorry.." they all replied sync.

"Tch. I'm going to sleep now, you better not scare me again" I said and went to my room as Calum followed. I just laid down in bed. But I couldn't sleep because I was still kind of scared of the movie, and what just happened. I heard someone slowly open the door, then close it and laid down next to me. "Goodnight" a voice that sounded like Calum said "Calum? What are you-" he cut me off "You're still scared, right?" he asked "I'll sleep next to you until you fall asleep.." he added and hugged me. I slowly closed my eyes, and I eventually fell asleep.
