Starting Over Again [Sequel to The Roommates]

Chapter 8

Serenity's POV:

"I was wondering if you'd.. like to go to the Arcade with me?" Calum asked smiling awkwardly "Sure" I replied & gave him a half smile. Luke, Ashton, & Michael walked up to us. "What do you guys want to do?" Luke asked "Go to the Arcade" I replied "But we've already been to the Arcade thousands of-" Luke hit Ashton's arm. "Fine, let's go" Ash sighed. I was walking in front of them. I heard Luke whispering to Calum but I couldn't hear what they were talking about. Calum drove us to the Arcade. I just played the usual games. Except, a different person. I was playing games with Calum. I'd say, it's a tie. & I'm definitely not saying that because I lost a round!

Luke was playing video games with Michael while Ashton was sitting down probably texting Alexa. Instead of playing the 'usual' games I play, we played pretty much everything in the Arcade. Well, almost everything. After playing around in the Arcade we went out for pizza. We were all sitting down laughing & smiling. Except Ashton. He was just paying attention to his phone while eating. "Calum, do you have anything you want to say?" Luke asked "Um, yes.." Cal replied & looked at me "Serenity, what I wanted to ask you after school was.. I was wondering if you'd maybe- I don't know.. want to go out with me?" Cal asked nervously as I smiled. "Yes. I'll go out with you"

After eating, we went to the plaza & walked around. "Well, what are you two doing? Hold hands!" Luke said to me & Calum as he nervously grabbed my hand. "What's going on?" I heard Ashton whisper to Mikey "Calum asked Serenity out" Mikey replied "Oh. Cool" he replied. After that, he was silent the whole way. We all went inside a shop. Luke's clumsy self was playing around with a mannequin & accidentally knocked it down. "Run!" Luke whispered loudly as we ran out of the store & ran a little further away from the shop. "If we got caught, we're blaming Luke" Mikey said "Agreed" we all said in sync.

After all of that, we went back to our apartment. Before we all went to sleep we watched a little bit television. We were just pretty much watching funny cartoons. After that, we all went to sleep. Before I fell asleep, I heard the door slowly opening. I quickly sat up. & there who entered my room was Calum. "What are you doing here?" I asked "Cuddle?" he asked as I laughed & smiled "Of course" I replied & scooted over as he lied down next to me, giving me a hug.
