Raven watched the world blurred around her. She never knew that running with a vampire was so nauseating, but that could just be from being pregnant.
Would going this fast hurt the baby? She thought. She looked at Tyler, he just stared straight ahead.
She wondered what it was like to be a vampire. Do you feel pain like us? Arnt you supposed to have died?
She pushed those thoughts away.
New ones consumed her mind.
Her baby was a half-breed. Would it change into its wolf form? Would it be stuck in between. Would she.... Love it? Would it look like the father? Would it act like the father?
She started to imagine all the things that could go wrong with the baby. What would the baby be like in the future?
Raven was standing in the room, her long green gown fitted against her body.
"My baby's getting married." She smiled pulling her son into a hug. He grinned.
"I know mom." He said, rolling his eyes.
They went to the isle, watching the bride stride down. Her hands holding black roses. She strode to Ravens son. Her smile dull and lifeless.
"Do you take this man to be your husband?"
"I do." The girl said, her voice monotone and flat.
"And do you take this girl to be your wife?"
"I do." Her son hissed, glaring at everyone. He changed. He killed all the guests and then tried to kill Raven. She knew he was a monster....her she let him live.
Raven gasped, opening her eyes. It was just a dream. Just a dream. She looked around. She was laying on a bed. A bed? How did I... She saw the figure standing in the corner. Twin jewels, twin rubies staring at her.
"I was wondering when you'd wake." Sebastion drawled. Stepping into the light. He looked at Raven, watched her as she looked around the room, searching for something.
"Where are the others?" She asked. Eyes meeting his. The room was dark, so dark a human wouldnt be able to see. Both their kind however could see in the dark just fine.
"They're eating. Are you hungry?" He asked.
"No." She lied, she was very hungry but she was wary about what she would get.
"Liar." He said. "Don't worry I won't make you eat any thing you don't want to. Do you still eat human food?"
"Yes... Sometimes." Translation....Never.
He looked at Raven and held out an arm. She sat up and slid off the bed, awakardly and unbalanced. She slipped and started to fall.
Sebastion caught her. Shaking his head. His shoulders shook. He was laughing at her.
She growled.
"Just bring me to the food." She spat.
"Sure." He grinned. He led her along.
"Your rooms on ground level. I know it's more of a risk for assassination attempts, but I thought it would be better for you and your baby." Sebastion said, looking down at the woman leaning heavily on him.
She had wide hips and her breasts were plump. I wonder if she's always been this shape. Sebastion thought.
Raven looked up. Her blue-grey eyes were full. She looked as though she'd seen something terrible.
"Are you alright?" He asked. His brother had filled him in on what Hanlin had tried.
Killing his own child, what a stupid thing to try. Even if he didn't know it was his child.
"I'm fine." She said, looking back down.
He sighed, and pulled her along gentaly.
"It's this way. Mutt." He said.
"Don't call me that."
"What?" He asked, looking down at her.
"Don't call me mutt. It's like if I called you Bloodsucker, the undead."
"But it would be true...." He said, not understanding why she didn't want to be called mutt.
"It doesn't matter, it makes me sad. Call me..." She paused as if thinking. "Anything but my race."
Sebastion was silent. Would would he call her now. He grinned at what he would call her.
"Alright. Baby mama." He teased.
"What!?!" She screeched, staring at him. Her eyes wide with outrage.
"Baby mama. That's what I'm calling you. Or maybe Cupcake?"
She groaned. "That was not what I meant."
"You said I could call you whatever as long as it wasn't your race." He reminded her with a small grin.
"Fine, just as long as it doesn't make the others angry."
He snorted, leading her into the dining room. His seat at the far end, the head of the table was empty. As was the spot beside it on his right. His brother sat on the left.
Sebastion led Raven to her seat and pulled the chair out for her.
"Well arnt you a gentleman." Tyler sneered.
Sebastion looked at Raven and grinned. Embarrass her, he thought. Her eyes widened, mouth opening to mutter a protest.
"Well Baby Mama is about to have a baby." He said, his voice and face void of emotion.
She looked horrified and covered his face. Sebastion put his hands on her shoulders.
"Arnt you baby mama?" He asked.
She let out a squeek. Trying to burry herself some more.
"Say it." He gripped her shoulders tighter. She was silent.
"Say it!" He growled, his fingers starting to crush her bones.
"Yes. I'm going to be a mother." She said, fear seeping out of her. He nodded, and sat down.
Tyler and Rosa glared at him, Raefél glared at Raven. She looked at the plate set before her. It was filled with meat, rare. And some fruit.
"I thought this was breakfast...." She murmured.
"It is." Sebastian said, drinking from a goblet. Thick red liquid sloshed around as he swirled it. Blood. Human blood if the smell was correct.
She stared at the hunk of flesh before her. She picked it up, disregarding her fork and knife and bit into it. The blood dripped from her chin onto the plate. She tore off the chunk and chewed. She took another chunk. More blood spilled onto the plate.
The vampires had stopped drinking and conversing and watched the She-wolf. Her hair was loose and dipped into the blood on her plate. Her mouth and chin were red, blood dripping down. Her teeth were red and her eyes showed bliss. She was enjoying the meat.
Sebastion grinned.
"Not hungry huh?" He teased.
She have a half hearted snarl before she tore another peice off.
She froze mid chew, face paling.
Flashback
Wolf raven
I bit into the human, he screamed. I tore off a chunk from his thigh. I chewed and swallowed and then took another chunk. I invited the screaming. I chewed and swallowed. Tore and chunk off then chewed and swallowed. All that was left was his head, face frozen in horror. An arm and some off his torso. I'd finish those later.
End flashback
Raven gagged, the meat falling out of her mouth and landed with a wet splat.
She hunched over and gagged. Her chest heaving.
Rosa stared at her, feeling concerned.
She stood and was beside Raven and held her hair back as she heaved.
