Sabrina sat on her bed, holding her newborn daughter.
"I can't keep you." She hissed softly. Angry for getting herself into this situation.
How could I let my self fall for a purebred? Let alone sleep with him.
Raven started to cry. It was quite and soft.
"Damn it. Shut up you mewling wrym." She shouted at her.
Raven looked up with wide eyes, startled, her cry ceased. Before her face twisted and she let out a loud wail. Huge tears spilling from closed eyes.
"Stupid. I hate you, Jake. I hate you."
She stood, rocking the wailing child gentaly. Her cold face softened.
"We'll get you to a home you can actually survive in. I'm not any good for you." She murmmered her finger stroking the infant's fat cheek.
"Even if you are cute."
Sighing she walked out of the house into the yard, moonlight bathing her. She looked down at the infant.
"We really need to name you..." She murmured.
Looking up again, she spotted a black bird flying. A raven....
"We'll call you Raven. Raven Redbird." She smiled down at the child, her child.
The moonlight made Raven look otherworldly, almost like she was.... Did she have...
Sabrina looked closer, and sure enough her baby, Raven, had yellow eyes. The eyes of a wolf.
"What?" She almost dropped Raven from surprise.
"We deffently need to get you to your father. I can't... I'm not going to feel with this. Being a wolf is bad enough, raising one? Hell no." She growled, causing Raven to cry yet again.
Walking back inside she placed Raven in the drawer beside her bed. Wrapped inside many blankets. She sat on the bed as her child cried. Loud and increasingly annoying.
"Go to sleep." Sabrina growled, her hand covering her eyes. Anger raising higher.
Then it was silent. Sabrina quickly glanced at Raven, looking down she smiled at the infant. She was asleep.
" I wish I could keep you..." She whispered. Why couldn't she? She thought to herself. Of course how could I forget. Her father is a pack alpha. A purebred alpha. I'm just a lowly stray. She reminded herself bitterly.
She lay back, eyes closed.
"I hate you." She whispered to herself over and over. "I hate you."
"I.... Love... You." She said before she fell asleep. Unaware of the wolf peering through her window, eyes that glowed yellow. Menacingly and huge.
I love you to, Sabrina. He thought. Glancing at the child. You and the child...
He ran off, to his home. With his two sons and wife. Changing into his human form he greeted Rosalie. His wife.
"Mmm. Hello love." He smiled, wrapping her in his arms. Pushing her body against his naked one.
"Stop. Your son's are still up."
"Our sons." He corrected.
The woman smiled, pushing her blonde hair behind her ear. "I love you Jake."
He inhaled her scent, savouring it. Before he let the lie slip out. "I love you to."
In truth he hated her, he was only married to her because of his father. He loved Sabrina. He wished It was Sabrina in his arms. So he could run his hands through her short brown hair. Kiss her scarred shoulder. Wished he could be with her, with her new child.
"Rosalie...." He spoke, about to tell her about Sabrina.
"Yes my love?" She asked, love dripping form her voice.
He sighed, knowing he couldn't. He had two sons.
"Tell the boys to go to sleep, I'll be right up."
She smiled, before she walked up the stairs. He watched her go, anger filling him.
Damn it. He cursed. Before he soon fallowed her up. Wishing his sons good night he went to sleep. Ignoring Rosalie as she tried to talk to him.
She finally sighed and went to the guest bedroom. Tears dripping form her eyes.
"I'm sorry." He whispered to her back. She just walked out.
Sabrina woke up to a sharp cry. She sat up and looked over, a woman was bent over her screaming baby.
"Let her go!" Sabrina growled, transforming. A red/brown wolf in her place.
"Calm my child." The woman spoke. Voice soft. Yellow eyes meeting the wolf's.
"I mean this child no harm. But it is time for you to give her up."
Sabrina switched back, bones popping into place.
"I will. I'm sorry mother." She said, false respect. This woman may have changed her, but she did abandon her all those years ago.
Like your doing to your child? A small voice asked.
It's different. she told her self.
It's different.
15 years later
Sabrina woke up. Looking over to her pack, all strays and rogues. Her new children.
"How is it different?" She asked herself.
"The memory again?" Gabriel asked. The most agressive of her children.
"Yes."
"You should have kept our little sister. We could have protected her." He said.
As he was the most aggressive he was also the one to care about his lost sister as well. She never quite understood why he cared so much about her little Raven. Honestly she expected him to be the one who cared the least.
"We'll get her back." She promised.
"We have to."
Gabreil nodded. Looking up at the moon.
"I'm going to kill the scum who hurt my sister." He growled. His eyes glowing in the moonlight, before they flicked to her and met her eyes. Hate pooled in their golden depths. Hate so strong it seemed to cause his gold eyes to look like molton gold.
"It's alright luv, she'll be home soon."
She'll be home soon. Even if I have to start a war. Sabrina vowed.
