I was panting, trying to run as fast as I can to our classroom. We were supposed to practice at 3:30 but Ziyi pulled me away, saying I need to tour him around the school.
"Guys! Sorry.... I'm... late," I explained, bowing to them in the process.
"Where have you been? And why were you running?" Yoojung asked, stopping in the middle of her scene with Changbin.
Before I could answer, someone from the back spoke for me. Who else would it be? He really likes intruding on my talks.
"She went on a date with Ziyi. Is that an acceptable answer?" He said, coldly. Eyes glaring at me.
"Ooh," Seungkwan said, emphasizing the O with his mouth. "Is that why you're late?"
I faced Seungkwan, ignoring Xukun's death glares. "It wasn't a date. You know since he's new, he asked me to tour him around school -"
"Then why didn't he ask Zhu Zhengting?" And again, Xukun cut me off.
I gritted my teeth, "Because, my derpshit of a brother's whereabouts are unknown, so he asked me,"
Xukun stood up and walked towards me, "Why don't you just continue your date then? That's what your good at anyway, leaving your friends for boys -"
"Woah - Xukun -," Changbin said, standing in the middle of this. "I think you're taking this way too far, man."
"Am I?" Xukun said, raising one of his eyebrow. "We waited, what - an hour for her? And to think, today was supposed to be about all her scenes. And have we practiced any? None. All we did was watch Yoojung and Vernon repeat their scene over and over again. Which by the way, still lacks a bit of emotion."
I look at all of them who just stayed silent. I know, I'm at fault here. I should've said no to Ziyi and told him I was busy - but I didn't.
I bit my lip, trying to recover my courage, "I'm sorry guys. I really am. You should just kick me off the group."
"No!" Changbin exclaimed in front of me. "Look, it's not like we were never late for practice. Vernon even let us wait for 2 hours for him."
"Hey! I told you, I was showering!" Vernon was quick to defend himself.
"For an hour?" Yoojung asked from beside him.
The boy just shrugged, "I put a lot of effort into making this body, hair and face, neat and clean for all my fangirls out there.
Doyeon nods, ignoring Vernon, "Changbin's right, though. You're our friend, Xinyi. We would never do that."
Seungkwan put his arm around me, "So, now quit being emo and let's finish this up!"
I walked towards one of the chairs to put my bag when I stopped beside Xukun. He grabbed my wrist, and pulled me a bit closer, "You're still the same girl, Zhu Xinyi. Always running around chasing boys."

What Xukun said yesterday really broke my heart. I'm not a slut nor a hoe. Sure, I once had a boyfriend but that was it.
I frowned, seeing Zhengting walked in the kitchen. He opened the fridge and put a glass of milk in front of me.
"What's this?"
"You looked sad, so I gave you milk."
"Is this supposed to make me feel better?"
Zheng patted my head, "Look, Doyeon told me what happened between you and Xukun."
I tightened my grip on the mug, "Did you talk to him?"
"I was about to," Zheng explained, scratching his head. "But when I opened the door to his room, he threw a pillow at me and yelled, 'Don't ask!' I think he's going through puberty."
