So here are my few confessions and clarifications about Paper Hearts and what my original plan was.

I. BEHIND THE SCENES

1. Ziyi does have feelings for Xinyi but it was never that serious. He also never pursued her because of his respect for Xukun.

2. Yoojung and Vernon became a couple during their trip to the mountains.

3. I've mentioned these for a few chapters before the special ones, but Zeren HAS a girlfriend before he came to Korea.

4. Doyeon did have a crush on Zeren but they had a talk about her feelings during the trip to the mountains.

5. Changbin has been crushing on Xinyi for a long time now but Xinyi never noticed one thing.

6. Changbin asked Doyeon to be his date not because he has feelings at first but because both of them were close friends and he didn't want her to be alone in the school dance.

7. The longer Changbin and Doyeon spends time with each other, they slowly grew feelings.

8. The only one Xukun has in his heart ever since the start of this story is Xinyi.

9. Xinyi has stronger feelings for Xukun compared to Yanchen. She only dated Yanchen because everyone at her old school was pushing her and she also has a tiny crush on him.

II. WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE

1. Changbin is supposed to be the man who Xinyi is arranged to be wed.

2. Xiao Gui was intentionally the bad guy in the story 😂

3. I never meant for Yanchen to be a bad guy but Xukun picked him during the group evaluation AND IDK THINGS HAPPEN LMAO

4. I wasn't planning to make Yoojung and Vernon date.

5. Yanchen and So Hyun were supposed to be a couple but only in secret.

III. OTHER REASONS

1. I started making this story after the second episode so I wasn't really familiar with all the trainees and such.

2. I only added Seungkwan, Vernon, Yoojung, Changbin and Doyeon randomly because of the reason I said in #2.

3. I love making references every after a new episode so I'm glad that some people can recognize it 😂

4. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LIGHT FANFIC, HOW DID IT GET SO TWISTED HAHAHAHAHA

5. PS if you got confused with what's happening in the story, don't worry. You're not the only one. Haha I, too, have been confused.

6. I never included special chapters in my original story but because you guys are all so precious, I wrote a few. Ily fam!
