A MONTH PASSES by quickly, giving Emma little to no time to prepare for the cold weather. In Canada it is always a bit cold, but in the winter it seems to stick and intensify. She guesses that the reason it appears to come so quickly is because of her newfound relationship with Jared Padalecki. The two continue to go out on dates and spend time with one another, sometimes along with Jensen.

On this fine winter's day, Emma is on her way to the set of Supernatural with a packed lunch for Jared, and another for Jensen. She stopped doing this so frequently, but if she gets the free time she will try.

Another reason that she is bringing lunch to the boys today is because Emma and Jared went out last night, and the latter seemed to be acting a bit odd. Sad, maybe. Emma couldn't exactly put her finger on it, but she knew it wasn't good. She hopes that he might talk about it with her after he eats his lunch.

Emma pulls up to the set and parks her car, getting out and grabbing the lunches. She grips her coat with one hand, shivering slightly at the low temperature. She hurries along until she reaches Jensen's trailer, unsure if he will be inside or off in the distance making a new episode. Nonetheless, she knocks on the door a few times before pushing the door open and stepping up inside.

"Jensen?" She calls out, peering around the empty trailer. However, there's no sign of him anywhere. Emma concludes he's off filming. She sighs and sits down at the small table inside, setting the bags on the surface in front of her.

Her mind flickers to the events last night. Jared and her had gone out, eating dinner at a fancy restaurant. They had eaten outside of it, on a large balcony sort of thing scattered with tables. Emma is close with the owner so it's always easy for her to get a table, she told Jared. The two made small talk all the way there, but when they were seated, he got this solemn look on his face and stopped talking so much. Emma asked what was wrong, but Jared claimed that he was fine and gave her a very pretty, very fake smile.

He never did answer her. Today she wants to find out why he was acting so weird last night. I mean, he didn't even walk her up to her apartment, which is what he usually does after every date, no matter how much of a hurry he is in. He just said that he was tired and had a long day the next day. Emma would be lying if she said she wasn't just the slightest bit offended by that.

The trailer door opens, and Jensen steps up inside. Emma is hoping that Jared will be close behind, but he must not be, because Jensen slams the door behind him. Emma furrows her eyebrows at his behavior. She hardly ever sees Jensen mad, and she has known them since they were kids.

"Jensen?" She says, not getting up from the table. "What's wrong?"

He scoffs. "Like you don't know," he tells her, opening the small refrigerator and grabbing a beer. Emma squints her eyes at him at his answer.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She answers, trying to hide the frustration in her voice. Jensen takes a seat across from Emma.

"Jared," Jensen simply says, shrugging. "Seems the plan isn't going... according to plan." Emma rolls her eyes at him.

"Again... what?" She repeats, not following what her friend is trying to say.

"I thought you would make him better, you know?" Jensen tells her. "But today, it seems like before he met you. He's keeps getting pissed off over every little thing. And let me tell you, it's not that fun to work with him when he's like this."

Emma sighs and puts her hands over her face. "Yeah, he was acting weird last night, too," she tells him with a sigh.

"Why, what'd you do to piss him off?" Jensen accuses. Emma moves her hands so she can glare at the green eyed man.

"I didn't do anything, Jensen," she tells him honestly, grabbing the bottle of beer he just opened and taking a small drink. "Things started great, then, I don't know, it's like he just started shutting me out."

Jensen shakes his head. "Hmm." He is silent a moment. "I wish I knew what was wrong," he says quietly. Emma nods, also wishing the same thing. Jensen and Jared have only been working together on the show a good two and a half years, but they have gotten close as brothers over that time. Emma can understand that, because she considers Jensen to be her brother.

"You know, if you ever act like that, I'm going to have to punch it out of you," she tells him. He smiles at her, appreciative of the joke. He knows that she doesn't mean that, and she is simply saying that to lighten the mood.

Emma stands up after making sure Jensen notices the lunch she made for him. "I better go find him, right?" She says, adjusting her coat and holding the lunch she made for Jared in one hand. "It might be something I did. If it was then I have to fix it." Jensen scoffs as he pulls a sandwich out of the bag.

"Em, I really doubt you could do anything to make him act like this," he tells her. "But if you could fix it anyways, we'd all appreciate it." Emma rolls her eyes as she makes her way out of his trailer.

"He's probably in his trailer," Jensen says loudly as she opens the door and steps outside, shutting it behind her.

Jared's trailer is just down the path. She reaches it in about a minute, maybe even less. She doesn't even knock before she opens the door and waltzes up inside.

"What are you doing in here?" His voice immediately says. Emma looks up and notices him coming out of the bathroom, a small towel in his hand that he is using to dry them. "Did you forget how to knock?"

Emma doesn't step any closer. Even though Jared's voice is not loud, she's afraid it might get that way if she pushes him. "I was bringing lunch to Jensen, and I made you some stuff too," she tells him, holding out the bag to him. Jared just looks at her a moment, eyeing the brown bag.

"You think I need you to take care of me?" He says, a certain edge to his voice that you have to pay attention to notice. Emma furrows her eyebrows and lowers her hand, placing the bag to the side, on a small table, much like the one in Jensen's trailer.

"No," she replies slowly. "I just made you food, Jared. It doesn't mean anything, I just wanted to do something nice."

"Yeah, that's all you ever wanted to do, huh?" He says. Emma would be lying if she said she wasn't just a little scared to be in this situation. She narrows her eyes at him, silently demanding a clearer answer. "Like, how you did something nice for Jensen by going out with me? Like staying with me in order to 'fix' me?"

Emma sighs. "How did you—"

"Jensen mentioned it," Jared replies. Emma hadn't known that Jared didn't know about that, about the reason why they went out in the first place, because Jensen wanted his friend to feel better. Emma doesn't know why Jared never knew that, but she is certain that it doesn't matter. "That is why, right? For Jensen?"

"Maybe the first time," Emma points out. "He didn't ask me to keep doing it, though." Jared still looks unconvinced, but he doesn't say anything. Emma isn't sure what to say either.

"Well it doesn't matter," Jared says eventually. Emma's shoulders relax a little. "You don't have to deal with me anymore, Emma." The brunette woman looks at him in disbelief.

"Jared—"

"Just go," he tells her. Honestly, she is surprised that he hasn't raised his voice at her all this time, because it seemed like he wanted to. When she doesn't make a move to leave, Jared takes a threatening step forward, "I said go."

That does it. Emma turns around and leaves the trailer as quickly as she can, not even stopping until she reaches her car.
