WHEN EMMA GOES back to work, she is still a tired mess, and she still hasn't talked to Jared. She notices that he tried to call her a few times, leaving messages that only say "please pick up" and "Emma, I'm sorry, let me explain". The brunette still didn't know how to feel about that. Maybe she needs to just see him, face to face. Maybe then she'll know what to say. After work, she'll go, she decides. She'll go to the set and talk to him there.

"Emma?" Someone says, the voice filling up the woman's quiet office. She sighs, before pushing a little square button on her phone to talk to the woman downstairs.

"Yeah?" Emma says in reply to the woman, letting go of the button.

"Uh, there's a guy here to see you," the woman tells her. Emma scrunches her eyebrows in confusion.

"Who? Jensen?" She questions. Jensen is really the only person who has ever visited her at work, and that was only a few times anyway. She has told him numerous times that she does not like to be bothered while working.

"No... not Jensen," the woman on the phone says. Her tone contains excitement and Emma wishes that she knew why. "I'm going to send him up, he really wants to see you." She does not give Emma much room for argument. Emma only sighs and runs a hand through her hair, waiting for the person to show up.

That person appears faster than Emma would have thought normal. Her heart leaps into her throat when she sees Jared's tall frame appear in the doorway. Her eyes widen slightly.

"Jared, what—" She begins, but then Jared steps inside her office and closes the door, and when he turns to her, immediately starts talking.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" He says, and only now Emma realizes that he is actually wearing a suit. And he is holding a small bouquet of flowers. "I'm sorry for what I said. All of it, the other day. I was stressed out and I took it out on you, and I had no right."

Emma scrunches her eyebrows. "Why do you have flowers?" She asks him. He sighs.

"Why do you think?" He says, holding them out to her. When she doesn't take them right away, he frowns and sets them on her desk.

"What are you doing here anyways?" She asks, already knowing the answer, it's pretty obvious. "I don't like to be bothered at work." Emma assumed that Jensen would have mentioned this to Jared.

"I know, I just—" he starts, pausing. "I just missed you, I guess."

"You guess?" Emma raises her eyebrows at him. He gives her a soft smile.

"No, I know," he corrects himself. "I like talking to you. I like being with you and having you around. I spent the last few days thinking I've completely ruined this."

Emma shakes her head. "You haven't ruined anything," she tells him, then wraps her arms around him in a hug. A little part of her brain is yelling at her for forgiving him so fast and easily, but she knows this is better for the both of them. So what if he snapped at her one time? She can get over it, she's had worse. Anyway, Jared and Emma have a lot of fun together, it's not worth throwing away over a stupid little fight like that.

"No way! The third Back to the Future is way better than the first two," Emma argues in disbelief. It's late at night and Jared and Emma are in Emma's apartment having a movie marathon of Emma's favorite series. Somehow the two ended up talking about which one is best of the three.

"Nope, the first one is the best," Jared tells her with a shake of his head, like it's a fact. "Everybody knows that."

Emma scoffs. "Everybody knows that," she repeats in a mocking tone. Jared gives her a look, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"Oh, that's real mature," he says, rolling his eyes at his girlfriend's behavior. She smiles at him and turns her head forward to watch some of the movie again. While Jared says that the Harry Potter series is his favorite, Emma likes this one better. The two decided to marathon Harry Potter some other time, because there are way more movies in that series.

Jared watches Emma in admiration as she becomes absorbed in the movie. The real reason that she likes the third one the best, he assumes, is because she also likes western movies, and this one is kind of like a western, with Marty and Doc being sent back into that time period.

Emma smiles a little as Jared moves his head towards her and kisses her cheek. He slides his arm around her shoulders as he starts kissing along her jaw, until he reaches her neck. Emma sighs, maybe from pleasure, or maybe annoyance. Jared isn't sure. But he doesn't stop.

"Jared, the movie," she mentions. She actually did want to watch these movies tonight, but she definitely wouldn't mind fooling around after. Only after.

But they are already on the third movie, they've been sitting together for hours, and with each one it gets harder for Jared to resist leaning forward and kissing her. He doesn't want to wait for the movie to be over.

"Later," he mumbles against her neck with another kiss, before pulling away and kissing her on the mouth. She closes her eyes and sinks into it, unable to stop herself. Her hands reach up and tangle in his hair, something that he notices her doing a lot whenever they kiss.

Heat rushes through Emma's whole body. Jared always has that effect on her.

Jared slides his hands down to Emma's hips, and effortlessly pulls him into his lap. Their mouths drift apart for a moment, giving Emma a chance to breathe, before they are kissing again. Her hands grab onto his strong shoulders to keep herself steady as one of Jared's hands land on her thigh.

Suddenly Emma can't stand it any longer.

"Bedroom," she whispers as she pulls away from him again, and in one swift motion, Jared is on his feet, carrying Emma to the bedroom while still kissing her.

He kicks the door shut and lays Emma on the bed. She instantly reaches for the bottom of his shirt, at which point he smirks at her teasingly.

"Someone's in a hurry," he says as he lets Emma pull off his shirt, her hands already running over his bare chest.

"It's been months, Jared," she breathes, looking up at him with darkened eyes. It has been months. It didn't seem like a big deal up until now. Now that she's got him on top of her again.

"Yeah," Jared mumbles in agreement as he kisses her again, this time, it's rougher but somehow so much better.

Emma doesn't even think about the movie still playing in the living room.
