DINNER GOES GOOD, in fact it's almost like a re-do of their first date. Emma wakes up the next morning all giddy like a teenager. Jared only grins at her actions.

He kisses her goodbye as he walks out the door with Jensen. The two of them finished season three a few weeks ago, and then they pretty much immediately started on season four.

Much to Emma's happiness, Misha Collins did get the role of Castiel. She thanked him and congratulated him many times, on getting the part and on winning her thirty dollars. He awkwardly said 'you're welcome' and thanked her on the congratulations.

Once the boys leave, Emma goes to work, all happy and chipper.

"Hey, Emma," one of her coworkers comes to her office right before lunch. "I think I saw that boyfriend of yours yesterday."

Emma raises her eyebrows. "Really, where?" She asks.

"He was at the food court in the mall," she says. "He had someone with him."

"Probably Jensen," Emma says, shrugging. The two boys were both gone at the same time and she figured they were hanging out together. However, Emma's coworker– May– scrunches her eyebrows together and shakes her head.

"No, I didn't see him anywhere, I definitely would've remembered," May says. Emma raises her eyebrows. May has had a crush on Jensen for the longest time, but the two hardly know each other, so she never says anything. "No, it was a girl I saw him with."

"Did you recognize her?" Emma asks, just curious. She's not going to jump to any conclusions just yet.

"No, but she was a lot shorter than him, with dark hair and dark eyes," May describes. Then she laughs, "She actually looked a little like you."

Emma laughs with her, but it's totally fake. She remembers Genevieve had dark eyes and dark hair to match, and she was a lot shorter than Jared. However, she doesn't say anything. It still could be someone else. There's lots of girls of that description.

Once May walks away from Emma's office, Emma's smile drops and she grits her teeth and chucks a pencil across the room at the wall. She buries her face in her hands.

It's fine. Just because it was some girl doesn't mean it was Genevieve.

"Oh, Emma?" May appears in the door again.

Emma lifts her head to look at her coworker, trying to act normal.

"Uh... I saw them kissing," May says, like she is hesitant and sad telling Emma this. "Sorry," Emma grits her teeth but hides it.

"Emma, Jared is here to have lunch with you," the lady at the front desk says to Emma over her intercom. Emma sighs deeply in frustration and runs her hands through her hair.

"Send him up," Emma says, despite her frustrations. May, who is still standing in the doorway, gapes at Emma in surprise.

"What?!" May nearly shrieks. Emma winces at her loud voice and raises her hands, motioning for her to quiet down. "After what I just told you, you want to see him?!" May exclaims, her voice only a tad bit lower than before.

"Please just let me handle this, May," Emma begs. "I can take care of it." May seems to consider this a moment.

"Okay, but I'm right down the hall if you need me, got it?" She says. Emma nods and practically shoves May back in the direction of her office. Jared appears a moment later, dressed up in his Sam Winchester clothes because he is on his lunch break too and just decided to leave them on.

"Hey," Jared greets her, kissing her on the cheek.

"Hi," Emma replies. She doesn't want to bring up the conversation she just had, she doesn't want to fight with Jared at work. She doesn't want to break up with him either, and she knows that will happen if she brings it up.

"You okay?" Jared asks. Emma shakes her head and manages a smile despite her friend's suspicion that Jared is cheating on her. Now that she just had that thought, it sounds really crazy. Jared loves her, he wouldn't cheat on her.

"Great," Emma says. "Just a long day. Really craving some pizza." Jared smiles.

"Well, let's go."

Emma doesn't bring this up the rest of the day. The lunch they have is nice, Jared discusses work and his parents, and Emma just nods and smiles and hope her attitude is believable. When lunch is over and he doesn't question it, she mentally pats herself on the back.

She takes the rest of the day off. She doesn't want to be around May, to hear her friend's ridicule about how Emma should have stood up for herself and showed Jared whose boss. But Emma was a lot more sad than she was mad. She doesn't think she could yell at Jared, even if she tried.

Emma just sits around her apartment the rest of the day, shades closes and lights off as she just lays on the couch, no television on. She just sits in silence and thinks.

Why would Jared cheat on her? Maybe she has become too focused on work and not giving Jared enough attention? Or maybe he's just tired of being in a relationship with her altogether. It has been months, after all.

"Hey, earth to Emma!" Jensen's voice rings out. She told him over the phone that she would be home way before him. "Is the TV broke?" Jensen asks, setting a bag of goodies on the counter and glancing over at Emma, who is lying still on the couch.

"No," Emma replies dryly. Jensen immediately notices the difference in her tone.

"What? What's wrong?" Jensen asks urgently. Emma just shakes her head and slings her elbow over her eyes. "What is it? Tell me."

"Nothing," Emma says firmly. "Shut the damn light off." Jensen had turned the light on when he came in, which annoyed her greatly. After sitting in the dark for hours, the light is irritating.

"Come on, it's me, what can't you tell me?" Jensen pushes, but Emma doesn't move from her spot. "Em, come on." He pushes her shoulder, but she doesn't say anything, doesn't even move save for her chest rising up and down.

"Whatever, I'll call Jared," Jensen says as he starts to move away from the couch. Emma reaches her arm forward quickly and grabs Jensen's arm.

"No!" She exclaims, like a child. "No don't... don't call him." She moves her hand away from him and curls up in the blanket.

"Okay, you're seriously starting to worry me," Jensen says. "What's wrong? Did something happen? With Jared?"

Emma sighs and crosses her arms, looking away from Jensen. She feels tears well up in her eyes so she keeps her head turned away. "I think Jared's cheating," she finally says, her voice breaking.

Jensen's jaw drops.
