The battle between X and I had begun, and apparently, I had lasted longer than any of our friends who fought X previously. Thinking about that got me pissed. X was going to pay.

I sent two spinning blades towards X, who just jumped on top of them and stabbed their knife downwards, but I'd seen Red do this trick before, so I just rolled to the side to dodge. They then threw the knife at me, but I jumped on top of it, just to pay X back in the favor that they did with my blades. Once in the air, I extended my arm, and grabbed X by the soul. Once they were in the air, I threw them even higher, and sent more blades towards them. However, once they hit the ceiling of the underground, they summoned another knife, and blocked all my attacks. Even though we were fighting, it looked really cool, despite the fact that all I could see was dust. They then dived towards me, so I jumped into the air, letting them get buried in the snow. From there, I sat on them.

"Do I win?"

I asked sarcastically, refusing to get as they were flailing and flailing.

"Tch... Get off me!"

X yelled, muffled as their face was full of snow. I could hear Cory laughing, which was rare for him.

"Now that's one way to win. I'm going to need to add stupidity and logic to the next time I fight Red over that last cookie."

Cory said. Red scoffed.

"Pu-lease. Besides, I think their... glowing? JESS GET UP NOW!"

Red yelled, and I threw myself into the snowbank Ross was in, however I got up. Ross was just... sitting there. When I looked back, a giant X had appeared into the ground, and X was laughing.

"No. I win. Nice try though, but you can't beat me."

They said, before summoning that OVERWRITE button again. Red cringed physically.

"Dang... does this guy have any weakness?"

He asked. Cory shook his head.

"I... don't think he does. Or she does? Gyah..."

Cory said, confused as to the topic of weakness and Transgenders. But once X pressed that button, we had lost all hope of winning. Because what happened after that was downright awful.

Because right in front of us, was Max. "But Jess! Didn't Max die?"

Yeah. He did. Which is why I have no clue what is even going on anymore. Ross jumped out of the snowbank.

"Max?"

He asked, his voice cracking. Max didn't reply.

"Max."

Ross said, more firmly this time. It was then we noticed the giant X on his face.

"Ross, I don't think that's Max, or if he could hear you."

Cory said calmly. I looked up.

"Nope. The heart is still gone."

I said, noting that there was still no orange heart. From there, Ross's vision, from what I could see, darkened, his eyes turning... red?

"Umm Red? What reason do people's eyes turn red?"

I asked him. He shrugged.

"Beats me. It normally happens when our LV-"

He was cut off with a save screen appearing behind Ross.

"But Ross can't do that... only Determination souls can..."

Shelby said. Once I looked at the screen, I stiffed a gasp.

A knife appeared in Ross's hand, and a ribbon secured itself around his knife wrist.

"Hey... You know... if Max was here, he'd say something stupid, like "Your gonna have a bad time"..."

Ross looked X square in the eye, and even X looked nervous.

"But I've got something better. You ever hear of the Red Sun? It's a very hard to find Myth that I'm quite antiquated too. It's quite long, so I'll make it brief. The sun never sets. Ever. Once it finds you, it will never set. You will kill. You will ravage, and it will never end. I've been doing quite well in hiding this from everyone..."

He aimed his knife, filled with light blue energy, directly at X, before teleporting, and having his knife right up to their throat.

"You wanna know something. I'm not just gonna give you a bad time. For killing Max and Adam? You deserve worse."

X shoved Ross away and grabbed their knife, almost shaking. All of us left were watching in shock.

"I'm going to have a downright AMAZING time... RIPPING YOU TO BLOODY ******* PIECES!"
