I'm not dead guys! Yet at least. I might die since I haven't updated this since what, February?

Shelby found it quite hard to contain her laughter at Cory's dumbfounded expression after Shelby filled him in on what happened.

"I-I just... you actually fought someone? And WON?"

Cory had his face implanted into the table, and since he was laughing slightly, his body was thumping up and down.

"Wow... I wish I could've been there to see it, or to help at the very least."

Cory finally said, moving his head off the table. Toriel smiled at his antics.

"Yes well, that's all very good, but I would like to discuss where this mysterious child come from, if you two don't mind."

Toriel asked. Shelby nodded, along with Cory.

"Sure. Let's see what we can figure out."

Jess had no idea why any of them weren't arrested at this point.

Max literally blew up a building, somehow, but he wasn't caught. Probably because the security footage was somehow deleted in the incident. Jess just assumed that it was a coincidence and moved on no questions asked. The problem that they were having at this point, was that Jin was trying to get them arrested, calling Max "The Mad Bomber", and saying that the rest of the group was in on it.

Unfortunately for Jess and the others, Jin's word was believed. He must've rolled pretty high then.

"Now wait! I've known Max for my whole life, and I know he wouldn't do anything like that!"

Ross said, trying to defend his best friend. The guard didn't really seem to care to much to what Ross said, other than grabbing him too along with the others.

"Let go!"

"Ugh! Hands off!"

"Getz offs mez you dirts!"

"You have the right to remain silent!"

The guard yelled, smacking the three most vocal resisters, that being Adam, Barney, and Red. Thankfully, someone came to rescue them, and since the cast is mostly guys, this isn't a damsel in distress trope.

"They didn't do it."

A girl said, her arms crossed. She had very long dark brown hair that went down to her elbows, and wore a basic light blue T-shirt and black leggings with her black hiking boots.

"I saw the whole thing. They didn't do anything."

She said. The guard raised an eyebrow.

"And you are?"

He asked.

"My names Aki. I'm in the same class as them. I also happen to have the room next door with my friend Tilly. I heard the whole showdown, and they didn't blow up the hotel."

She said. The guard frowned.

"Then who did then since you know so much."

He said. Aki pointed a slender finger towards Jin.

"He did."

She said. The guards dropped Jess and the others, and surrounded Jin and his gang.

"Is this true?"

The lead guard asked. Jin shook his head violently to both sides.

"He's panicking. That usually means that he's hiding something. Take him away boys."

Jin was tossed over the shoulder of one of the guards like a sack of potatoes. The put handcuffs on Jin too.

"NO! THIS ISN'T OVER!"

He yelled, before he was based so he would shut up. Jess looked on with pure relief. Some guards still remained at the scene though.

"Just cause your off the hook doesn't mean you still ain't suspicious. We're gonna take some of y'all in for questioning."

"No, that won't be needed officer."

Another girl had shown up, from where Jess couldn't really say. It was almost like she appeared out of thin air. However, Jess was positive that she had seen her before, but she couldn't remember where. Red seemed to have the most difficulty with this though, as he was actively trying, from what Jess could see, to figure out who mystery girl was.

"I'll handle it myself."

She said, as if she was ending a chapter of a book or show on a cliffhanger. The guard, who should have been probably mad at this girl feigning superiority, just... went with it, as if he was under a trance.

"Understood."

He said, pointing in the girls direction.

"You're under Officer Tina's watch now. If I see any of you try anything, you will be sorry. Got. It?"

He asked. Jess nodded slowly.

"All clear. We got it."

She said, and beckoned the others to follow to go get interrogated.

"We're lying to this chick right?"

Adam asked. Max nodded.

"Duh. I'd prefer not to leave here in a police car."

He responded. Once everyone arrived, Officer Tina easily beckoned us over to a park bench, and began the longest 10 minutes of everyones lives.

Aki belongs to Unique_Duckling, who Wattpad wont let me tag after 20 tries.
