Jess was in tears, even though she knew that Cory and Shelby were alive. She was looking down into the hole, and she couldn't see a bottom. Adam had pulled her back to a respectful distance away from the hole, so she wouldn't fall in as well, which would ruin pretty much the whole plan. Red peered over the edge.

"That... is a long drop. I really hope that what the Journals say is true, and they live."

He said. Jess pulled out her Journal, and flipped through it, hoping to find something on an exit to this "Underground" that the journal kept talking about. Her hopes were granted, as on one of the pages, she found something.

I found the exit to the underground, AKA the barrier today. It's pretty cool, and looks really pretty. I somehow could walk through it! It was amazing! I managed to get outside the underground, which is... still on Mt. Ebbot. It's this beautiful cliff that overlooks the whole resort!

Jess smirked. She now knew what she needed to look for.

"Guys? Didn't Shelby have a cousin named... Ross? Something like that. What are we gonna tell him?"

Adam asked. Jess froze.

"Crap. We should think of something while we head back to town."

Shelby was in pain. Her hand felt as if it was on fire, and she was certain she'd broken something from the fall she just took. Once she managed to get her bearings, she got into a sitting position. Her backpack was right next to her, so she opened it, and found everything as she left it. Looking around, she was sitting on a patch of Yellow Flowers. Cory was nowhere to be seen. Yanking her bag on her back, she began to move around. Looking back at the flower patch, it looked as if someone was there already before her. Shelby smiled. Cory was okay.

A large looming gate appeared before her, so smiling, she walked right through. On the other side was a... flower. Shelby stifled a laugh before she saw the mask on the ground. A certain Camera mask. She ran up, and grabbed it, and held it to her chest as the flower moved and noticed her.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower!"

Shelby frowned at the flower.

"If your name couldn't be any more uncreative, I'd be surprised."

Shelby said, mimicking Cory's endless sarcasm. The flower looked surprised.

"Your new to the underground, aren't ya? Golly, you must be so confused!"

Flowey said. Shelby frowned, being completely ignored however everything went black and white. Where she stood, a light red heart stood instead. The flower smiled.

"Down here, everything is based on LOVE!"

Flowey said. Shelby's pacifism, as Cory called it, kicked in.

"I'm interested now."

She said, before a purple soul entered the black and white world, and Flowey got picked up. Then everything obtained colors, and Shelby saw that Cory had picked up Flowey by the stem and was dangling him upside down. Shelby was shocked, because Cory had another mask on, even though Shelby held one in her hands.

"Umm... your welcome?"

Cory asked. Shelby tilted her head.

"For what?"

She asked. Cory smirked, as his mask he wore now revealed his mouth.

"This guy was going to shoot you with these weird-"

He was cut off as little white pellets surrounded Cory, and caused him to be thrown backwards. Cory wiped some blood from his mouth.

"Those things."

He said. Shelby nodded.

"Okay..."

She said, looking at the flower with now sudden danger filling her. Cory jumped to his feet, so Shelby followed. The world went black and white again, as she saw her little red heart, and Cory's purple heart. She noticed that she had four buttons around her waist area, and Cory did too. FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY. For curiosity, she pressed ACT. A menu popped up, with the options Check. She pressed fight. In her hand appeared a powerful staff, glowing with red magic. A small gauge appeared in front of her. She slammed the staff on it as a small white line went on into the middle. She was suddenly thrown forward by some strange force.

Once she landed on her feet, she felt the staff get warm under her hand. She pointed it at Flowey and red magic surrounded the flower, who was currently laughing like crazy. Red magic surrounded the flower, and closed in on him, like the pellets did to Cory. They surrounded him, and then attacked. The flower then fell onto the dirt, and the illusion faded again, leaving her VERY confused, and wondering why the staff was in her hands, and Cory with his jaw hitting the floor.
