"WHY IS EVERYBODY DYING AND COMING BACK TO LIFE?"

Shelby yelled, as Cory was glaring directly at X and Jin. X laughed.

"Don't you get it? You CAN'T kill Hate. It's impossible."

X said. Red frowned.

"But... we decapitated him. I sent his head to Blox. Why is he still alive?"

Red asked. Jin was smiling, but X did the talking.

"Hate... is complicated. It's the opposite of a positive soul like yourself. As long as a positive feeling exists, there will be someone who will hate it."

X said, raising his arm, and sending Jin in our direction. Cory quickly drew a sword in his notebook, and charged after Jin, sending a small cloud of snow behind him. It was insane.

Cory dived, and sliced near Jin's sword arm. Jin jumped into the air, summoned his scythe, flipped, and then sliced Cory, who thankfully did see the attack and didn't die like Max did. Cory blocked with his purple sword, and kicked Jin in his manliness. Jin winced, before spinning the Scythe, and attacking again, to which Cory blocked by just extending his arm, and intercepting with the sharp edge of his blade. From here, a small patch of snow flew around them, and Cory stabbed Jin. The soul of Hate flickered, before dying just like Adam did. Only... his soul didn't break. It just... dissolved, and vanished. Cory sighed, and relinquished the sword.

"That all? Cause if so, you can take your little butt, and get it out of this universe."

Cory yelled to X. X sighed.

"Well. I didn't expect you to be alive. I thought I'd get to kill another one of you souls. Oh well. Guess you can't win them all. Oh wait!"

X charged forward, and knocked Cory to the ground. Cory quickly got up, but X sped past us, aiming their knife at one person. Luckily, I got them out of there in time.

"Barney, you OK?"

I asked, before focusing on X, who had once again gotten face first in a snowbank. Barney nodded, and X got out. They sighed.

"Oh well. That sucked. But I'm still finishing this one."

X said, charging Barney once again. Barney summoned his frying pan, shoved me to the side, and intercepted X's attack. X got their demon eyes on, and kicked Barney in the stomach. Barney winced, and swung his pan, hitting X upside the head, knocking them out.

"How long are they going to be out for?"

Red asked. Barney shrugged.

"But what do we do now? Our world isn't going to last much longer!"

Shelby cried. Cory looked depressed.

"This... how did it even get like this! We need to stop this... thing, and now! Can we jump timelines? Shelby! Red! Can't you two do anything?"

Cory pleaded. Red sighed.

"Unfortunately, I can't. I'm still handicapped."

Red said, making a small projection of his soul appear. There was only half of it.

"Shelby..."

Cory turned to the girl.

"I could RESET. But I'm not sure it would do anything... We need a TRUE RESET. That's the only way."

Shelby said, determined. Red frowned.

"But that would RESET EVERYTHING! Everything that happened... we'd forget all of it. Do we really want to go back in time, and lose everything we've ever accomplished?"

Red said. I frowned.

"Are you sure we wouldn't remember? If we did, we could fix all of our mistakes!"

I said. Red sighed.

"Besides. We can't even pull it off. Shelby and I need to both press the button at the same time. I can't even use the button anymore due to this soul problem. And as we can see, theirs no way to Alphy's lab to get any Determination."

Red said, demoralizing the mood. I frowned, and summoned my own soul. The dark blue soul stood in front of me, with white glitches flickering around it.

"What if we could glitch the system?"

I asked. Red frowned.

"This isn't a game Jess. We can't just glitch the server, or hack anything."

Red said. Shelby gripped Red's hand.

"W-What if we... fuse?"
