Officer Tina looked all of the group up and down.

"Is this all of you?"

She asked, which got a universal nod from the group. She sighed.

"Are you... sure?"

She asked, pointing at Adam, as a small stream of dark blue... is that magic? Flew out of her finger and surrounded Adam.

"Is this all of your group?"

She asked again. Adam's eyes glazed over.

"No. Cory and Shelby fell down Mt. Ebbot yesterday hoping to find the secret about the journals we all had."

He said very blandly, as if he was under a trance, which he probably was.

"What did you do to him?"

Red asked angrily, his eyes turning a deep shade of purple.

"Oh come on. You think you kids are the only ones with magic around these parts? Just a little mind manipulation. No big."

She said, before snapping her fingers, and the magic swirled back into her hand.

"What the f*ck did you just do?"

Adam asked, extremely confused.

"Languagez."

Barney said, slapping his hand over Adam's mouth.

"She used some mind control magic on you."

Jess said bluntly. Tina chuckled.

"I mean, it works, so I can't really complain. The end justifies the means, am I right?"

Tina said happily.

"But seriously though, tell me about Shelby and Cory. Or I can, and probably will, force you too."

The hunt to find out who that mysterious kid was led Cory and Shelby to having to lead the Ruins, and ask someone who may know who that person was. Toriel's eyes saddened at the situation.

"I am sorry my children that this is your option."

She said, hugging the two of them. Even Cory had to hug Toriel, which meant a lot for Cory terms.

"But if you must go, there is someone you must find. Seek out a skeleton named Sans. He has a blue jacket. I doubt you will miss him. He enjoys jokes."

Shelby smiled at the prospect of a funny person, while Cory sighed.

"Alright. So we're heading to this place called Snowdin. Won't it be... you know... snowy?"

He asked. Toriel smiled.

"I am quite aware, so here you go!"

She said happily, giving the pair a set of jackets, a bright red one for Shelby, and a deep purple one for Cory.

"...Thanks."

Cory admitted, his face bright red.

"Thank you!"

Shelby said happily. Toriel smiled.

"Anything to help my children prosper. Now good luck you two. And if you see that child again, and I'm guessing you probably will, I will probably be not here anymore. Please... be careful. I don't want you two to go the same way I did."

Toriel cautioned, before opening the heavy door which separated the ruins from the outside world, which lead to another dark hallway.

"I will walk with you to the exit of the ruins."

She said matter-of-factly. As the group of three walked down the long hallway to the exit of the ruins, Shelby could notice for awfully cold it was beginning to get. She was glad Toriel gave her a jacket as they walked to another big door.

"Here you go my children. I wish you luck. And please be careful of the Royal Guard. They seek to capture humans such as you."

"The Royal Guard?"

Cory asked Toriel. She nodded.

"The Royal Guard is ASGORE's personal force. They are seeking human souls for some reason. If you see them, hide. Avoid them at all costs."

Toriel warned, before enveloping Cory and Shelby into one final hug.

"Good luck."

She said again, before opening the door to the ruins, letting the cold air fill the room. Cory nodded to Shelby, who quickly nodded back. The two waved to Toriel as they exited the ruins, and entered the snowy world before them.
