4/27
The trip has begun! I saw Ross and Max behind us, sneaky little buggers! Cory said he was going to show me something really cool tomorrow on Mt. Ebbot, so I'm looking forward to that. I saw Jin... he was being a jerk again. I don't like Jin. He's a jerk.
It was April 27th, and it was freezing. Shelby hadn't really come prepared for cold weather, but it was five in the morning, so she could let it slide for now. Cory and Jess were nearby, each were much smarter, and brought a coat with them.
"Hey Shelby, aren't you cold?"
Jess asked. Shelby shook her head no.
"W-What are you t-talking about? I-I'm fine!"
Shelby stuttered out. Cory sighed. He probably rolled his eyes too, but Shelby could never tell with his make on his face.
"And that's Shelby for, I'm freezing!"
Cory mocked, laughing a bit. Shelby glared, but that only made him laugh more.
"You are a sadist Cory."
Jess said. Cory shrugged.
"Yeah. I know."
He said. Shelby laughed, however she was still freezing. However, someone came barreling into the three of them.
"Excuse me! Coming through!"
Adam yelled, sprinting through the three of them.
"Oh come on!"
Jess shouted, as her phone was knocked to the ground. Shelby laughed.
"S-Sucker."
She said. Jess sighed, and pulled a Dark Blue sweatshirt out of her backpack.
"Here. Put this on Shelby. Your making me cold."
She said, yanking the sweatshirt over Shelby's white tanktop and blue t-shirt.
"Thanks Jess."
Shelby said. Jess hugged Shelby.
"You owe me one."
She said, a bit muffled. Shelby patted the raven-haired girl's head.
"Ok then."
She said. Cory snickered.
"So who's shipping who now?"
He asked. Jess got off Shelby and glared.
"Ahem. I am the Shipping Queen. You may not steal my title."
Jess said, trying to look as dignified as possible, while still walking onto a school bus. Shelby laughed as the three of them were forced into one seat.
"Well. Crap."
Cory said, who was stuck in between the two girls.
"Sucks to be you Cory."
Adam said, since he was in the seat right next to them.
"Save me!"
Cory said dramatically. Red laughed.
"Nah man. You wanted the girls. You get the girls."
He said while Barney was just laughing. Eventually, the bus, finally, started moving, so everybody had to get back in their seats.
Shelby reached into her bag, and pulled out The Journal. Jess gasped at the sight.
"Wait... that looks..."
Jess reached into her bag and pulled out her Journal, just with a Dark Blue Heart on it.
"I'm starting to think something is up."
Shelby said.
"Cause Ross has one too."
She said. She felt Adam tap her from across the aisle. In his hands were three more Journals. One Yellow, one Green, and one Dark Red.
"Somethings up."
Adam said, giving the Green one to Barney, and the Dark Red to Red. Cory pulled his notebook out.
"Definitely. Why would all of us get these Journals?"
He asked. Jess groaned.
"It's Gravity Falls all over again..."
She muttered, which caused Shelby and Cory to start laughing.
"That might be it. Who wrote the Journals?"
Cory asked, a little sarcastic, before flipping through the pages.
"I've read through these, but some entries make NO sense. Like when did I have powers? What's a RESET? I feel like I'm supposed to know these things, but I'm drawing a complete and utter blank."
