Hey y'all. Blox here. So I figured I'd update on what this means for the book. Yes, this will be the final chapter of "Our Souls Will Be Stronger Than Stone". This was around the amount of chapters the first book had, so I figured I'd try to keep them the same. Will there be a book three? Maybe. I'm not too sure yet. I mean, If you all want a book three, let me know. Other than that... I think that's about it on announcements here. Enjoy the chapter, Blox out.

Shelby was dead. She was absolutely, positively sure she was dead. So, then how in the name of heck, did she end up right back at the bridge near a star she never even touched?

"Huh?"

Shelby asked the air, seeing as she had randomly appeared right outside the bridge, and she could see Papyrus on the other side. Walking forward a bit, her foot hit a piece of paper just kinda laying in the snow.

"What's this?"

She asked, opening the paper, as it was folded in half. Inside, was a note.

Well. Aren't you glad I had autosave turned on?

"Autosave?"

She asked the air, and looked at the star. So she had activated the star, without even knowing that she did?

"Seems... a bit fishy. Also, why didn't I have a say in coming to this particular star? This just makes... no... sense..."

Shelby said, exasperated.

"Human! I see you there! Come quickly!"

Papyrus said happily. Shelby jumped a bit, as he had invaded her thought process. She paused though.

"Wait... so last thing I remember is walking across that bridge... and the spike ball fell, which caused the bridge to break... and then I fell. Wait, so should I not cross the bridge?"

She asked herself. Looking ahead, she could see Papyrus waiting for her. Sighing, she walked over to him. Papyrus said the exact same thing as the last time she was at this bridge. Wait, so did she go back in time? Shelby had absolutely no clue, but her eyes were fixed on that spike ball. Papyrus caught her gaze.

"Ah! Marveling at my work? As you should! It will stop any human!"

He said happily. Shelby grimaced.

"No... Doesn't it kinda look... unstable to you at all?"

She asked him. Papyrus looked at the ball oddly.

"Well.... it sort of does. I can see why you may be concerned human. But have no fear! This spike ball is one hundred percent-

BOOOM

"Safe..."

Papyrus was cut off by the ball falling on top of the bridge, thus breaking the bridge in half. Both Shelby and Papyrus were at a loss for words.

"You were saying?"

She asked. Papyrus sighed.

"Well that didn't go as expected. But fear not human! I have a better puzzle that will leave you confounded... is what I would say, but I actually don't have one. That was my puzzle. And it broke."

Papyrus said, kind of disappointed. Then, as if he had an idea, he ran into the town behind him without a second thought, leaving Shelby alone. She sat down on the snow, waiting for something to happen.

Cory was confused. Cory got confused about a lot of things, but this one took the cake for most confused. One moment, he was explaining to Sans about why Shelby and him went to the underground, as Cory could easily tell that Sans knew way more than he was letting on, and the next moment he was in a spot he stood in not a few minutes earlier, and Cory was absolutely sure he didn't walk there. Sans seemed to know what happened though, which Cory was thankful for.
