We all piled in the car.
"Laaaadies first." Corbyn opened the door and gestured for me to go in.
As I hopped in the car and saw three rows of seats. The front, with the drivers seat and passengers. The middle with three seats and the back with three seats.
I held onto the top of the middle seats and went to the back.
"AH! Its raining!" Logan quickly got into the passengers seat and shook his head like a dog.
The boys piled in and Corbyn, Jonah, and Daniel sat in the middle. Jack and Zach came and sat next to me. With me being to the left, Jack in the middle, and Zach on the right.

"Hey? Are you ok? You kinda zoned out?" I looked up at Jack and turned off my phone without looking back at it.
"Y-yeah." I smiled nervoulsy and put my phone in my back pocket.
He smiled at me but I could tell he was only smiling because I was.
"ALRIGHT GANG! WE! ARE! HEREEEE!" Logan yelled pushing the door open.
The boys started pouring out, Jack helped me to my feet outside of the car.
We went inside and they ordered.
"And Aurora?" Logan turned to me.
"Oh..It's, Amora." I laughed.
"What do you want?" He asked again raising his voice a little.
I could see some of Jack's veins in his jaw tighten.
"I'll just have some fries." I replied softly.
Logan told the waiter and we all went to a table. There were only 6 chairs.
Logan, Brendan, Zach, Daniel, Jonah and Corbyn all frantically looked at each other. Jack relaized what they were doing but before he could blink, they sat down. Leaving me and Jack standing. We looked at each other.
"There's a table over here away from these jerks." Jack pointed to a table firther away from them and near a secluded window spot.
I smiled and nodded. He smiled as if he was relieved that I said yes.
We sat in the chairs and I automatically started fiddling with my fingers.
"So," Jack leaned forward on the table, "tell me about your family."
"Oh, it's nothing, really interesting. I'm practically a normal girl." I said looking at my hands as I put them on the table.
"I think you are more than just an ordinary girl." Jack reached and gently cupped my hands inside his.
"Well.." I started and took a deep breath, "I live with my dad and I went to Dearny High."
"Where's your mother?" Jack asked.
I looked back down at my lap and slowly as I talked, looked back at Jack, "My mother died of cancer.." I gulped.
Jack moved his hands so that he held mine, "I'm so sorry, I shouln't have--agh, that was stupid to ask."
He started to pull his hands away but I grabbed them again.
"No. It wasn't." I said, "She died when I was five."
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to-"
"She wasn't around. She was in the hospital ever since I was born." I said, "I always brought one flower each day I saw her until the flower vase was full. I remeber my dad and I, would take runs, around the area,"
I made a circle on the table, "and we'd see who could run the the car the fastest and back to mom."
Then I laid my hand flat on the table, "And then she was gone."
I looked down again.
"Hey, why dont you come back to the house with me and the boys." Jack offered.
"You think so?" I asked making sure it was ok.
"Of course! Do you have a curfew?" Jack teased.
"I'm eighteen you dork." I stuck out my tongue.
We ate and continued talking, thought of course the mood lightened. We waited for the food and when it came we finished the fries in like two minutes.
Jack got up and grabbed a straw.
"Jack, you already have a straw." I laughed.
"I know." He sat down and tore the wrapper off the straw and stuck it in the milkshake, "I was going to share it with you."
I felt my face burn up, "O-Ok."
He put the milkshake in the middle of the table. It was such a simple thing. Just wrap a finger or two around the straw and take a sip. That simple.
I leaned forward and Jack did too.  Our noses lightly touched as we both took a sip. We kept eye contact. I took my lips off the straw and Jack caressed my cheek.
I leaned into it and put my hand over his.
He leaned in and I felt his warm breath against my face. He stood up and leaned over the table.
"YO JACK!" He pulled away and looked over at the table, "IS SHE COMING OVER???"
I turned to see it was Corbyn talking.
"Yeah!" Jack said back.
"Coolaid!" Corbyn winked and turned back to the boys who were standing up.
Jack came over to my side and helped me up and we walked over to them.
"Sharing status huh?" Zach wiggled his eyebrows.
Jack hit him over the head.
We all headed to the car. They dropped me off at the Pet Store.
"Are you able to pick me up after my shift?" I asked Jack.
"Of course." He smiled as they shut the door and drives away.
I watched the car leave. Until it was out of sight.
