The room grew silent as we just stood there. He starred at me for a another minute before someone called him over to go on stage. He walked away, towards the stage. I turned to Jason, who was starring at me. I gave him a confused look. "I'm assuming that's your musician friend." He nodded. "He's strange." I said, walking over to the table with snacks on it. We heard music start playing and a minute later his voice boomed throughout the venue.

I watched from the side stage honestly kinda fascinated by him. I had a cup of gummy bears in my hand, eating them as I watched. His music sounded vaguely familiar, like I'd heard some of it before but I didn't specifically know any of it. But I liked it. He was very intriguing. Half of his music had a "I don't care, fuck off" vibe and the other half had a "I care too much" vibe. It was very conflicting and made me wonder what he was really like.

Jason came and stood by my side, watching along with me. "You look like you're deep in thought." He smiled. "Just curious." I replied, starring at the singer. "Don't get too curious. Curiosity can get you into trouble." He said ominously before walking away. I raised my eyebrows in his direction before blow it off. I looked back at Bear preforming and caught eyes with him. I swore I saw him smirk, turning away.

Me, Jason, and Izzy were sitting on the couch talking and I actually really like them. We have a lot in common and they seem like god company. "Oh, Bree, you should definitely come to the party after! Bear always has parties after his shows." I shrugged. "I don't know." I hesitated, not a huge fan of parties. "Come on, you don't even have furniture, what are you gonna do, go home and sit on the floor?" Jason replied sassily. "Well shit." I said with a laugh. "I guess I'll go then." "Yay! I can already tell you're a fun drunk." Izzy grinned. I shrugged. "I don't really drink much." She pouted. "What I heard was you drink, just not often so tonight you shall drink." Jason smiled.

"Guys we won't all fit in this uber." Aaron laughed. "There's only room for 7 and there's 8 of us." Everyone glanced around, looking at each other. I leaned over to Jason and whispered. "Maybe I should just go home." He shook his head. "No you-" "You can ride with me." I heard his voice, causing me to turn around. He was once again standing way closer than I had anticipated. "Great! It's settled then." Aaron said jumping in the uber. "I don't know if I-" I started but was cut off. "Come on, Angel, I don't bite." He winked. "Unless you want me to." He added with a smirk. "I'll see you there then." Jason said, get in the uber. I looked at him as he got in, sighing. "This way." Bear said, placing his hand on the small of my back, guiding me towards a black G-Wagon. He opened the door for me and I got in hesitantly. I shifted and got comfortable. It was a very spacious car as I looked around. He got in on the other side and turned on the car. We both buckled our seat belts before he pulled off. "So...Bree, is that short for something?" He questioned, my name rolling off his tongue so beautifully. "Possibly. I'm assuming Blackbear not your real name." He smirked at my answer and replied. "Possibly." I laughed. "So, why'd you move out here? Very different from Michigan." I nodded, rolling my eyes. "Just needed a change." I said leaning down and grabbing a pack of cigarettes out of my bag. "You smoke?" He questioned. I nodded. "I didn't used to, my boyfriend hated it." I chuckled, searching for my lighter. "What changed?" "He cheated on me with my best friend." "Oh shit." He mumbled. "Do you have a lighter?" I questioned, remembering seeing him smoking after the show. He reached in his pocket, as we stopped at the light and pulled one out, lighting it. I leaned over and lit the cigarette, rolling down the window a little bit. I looked over at him, resting my elbow on the edge under the window. I studied the tattoos along his neck and arms, curious about them. "You don't have to undress me with your eyes,  all you have to do is ask." He smirked, glancing over at me. I rolled my eyes, taking a drag. "Im good, thanks for the offer though." I honestly found his bluntness and playfulness kinda refreshing. People back home would rather tell you a million lies with a smile than just be honest. "You talk a lot about sex." I commented. He laughed and smiled. "I love sex. And they say do what you love so..." he trailed off with a grin. "Who doesn't love a good fuck." I commented, clearly catching him off guard as he looked over at me. "Not what I expected you to say." He laughed. "Along with my change came honesty. I don't get why people don't just say what they are fucking thinking." I groaned. "Agreed."

Surprisingly, we got along petty well. I didn't think we would at all. But the drive ended up going by pretty quickly before we pulled up to a mansion. "Welcome to my castle." He smirked, looking at me after he parked. "That was really lame." His smirk fell and he rolled his eyes. "You're literally no fun." We got out of his car and he guided me towards the door. We walked in and I was sadly greeted by many people. "You have too much expensive shit." I rolled my eyes at his overly lavishly decor. "Your attitude really makes it difficult to like you." He squinted. He once again put his arm around me, guiding me through a crowd of people and into the kitchen. "Do you want a drink?" He leaned over and asked in my ear due to the noise. His breath fanned over my neck, sending a very unexpected tingle trough my body. I tensed up a little at the feeling. "Angel?" He snapped his fingers in front of my face causing me to look at him. "Uh yeah, sure." He poured me something and handed me the cup. "Yeah because you should always trust a drink a stranger gives you." He gave me a look, taking a sip of his drink. "Calm down, babe. I know you don't drink that much, it's just sprite." I rolled my eyes at the pet names but none the less took a sip of the drink. I was indeed sprite. I huffed and he grinned. "You're not really a party person, are you?" He questioned, leaning against the counter. "Not really. But I was convinced by a tipsy Izzy and sassy Jason since my apartment literally has nothing in it, there's really nothing I could do there besides sit on the floor and stare at a wall." "You have nothing in your apartment? Not even a bed?" He chuckled. "There's a old dingy mirror and a broken table in the kitchen." He raised his eyebrows and nodded.
