"Bree! You're late." James yelled at me as I sat down in the hair and makeup chair. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I know." Addy walked over to me, she was all done waiting in a robe. "You seem frazzled." She laughed. "Just running late. There was an accident on the way here." I breathed. Jessica walked over to me, matching my skin tone. "Hey, Jes. Sorry I'm late." She laughed. "No problem, Bree, you're easy anyway." "Are you sure it doesn't have anything to do with your recent love affair?" Addy smirked. I rolled my eyes, smiling. "No, Addy, it doesn't." "Have you seen his Instagram?" She asked, pulling out her phone. "Do you stalk him now?" "Who? I wanna know." Jes said excitedly. "No one." "She's dating a rapper dude." Addy said. "Oooh." Jes said. "We're not dating. , it's casual." Addy showed me her phone. "Okay, technically it's not on his Instagram, some model chick posted it a couple hours ago." It was a photo of him and this model sitting on a pool chair, her in his lap. There were a bunch of other girls in bikinis surrounding. I could clearly tell it was his pool and his house. I shrugged, not particularly bothered by it. "So?" I asked. "You don't care?" She laughed. "No, not really. Like I said, it's casual." "Cali's changed you" She laughed. "For the better." I pointed.
"Alright! That's a wrap!" James called. Everyone cheered. We'd been shooting for about 7 hours now. "We know the drill. Wrap party starts in 2 hours. Anyone who wants to come it welcome, anyone who is too tired is welcome to stay home and rest. The company owner will be in attendance tonight and has a special thank you present for everyone in the shoot." Everyone murmured about random things to do the party. I walked over to Addy and sat in the sand next to her. "Are you going?" I asked. "I gotta, I only have a couple days left in LA. No time to waste." She laughed. "I guess that means I gotta go too." I said leaning my head in her shoulder. She laughed. "No doubt. Come on, you love wrap parties." She grinned. I rolled my eyes, nodding. Wrap parties were just the right amount of chill and lit. There weren't too many people and everyone got along perfectly fine. We all work together so we all have a mutual respect. And James doesn't tolerate any shit. "Alright, come on, up." Addy said standing up and putting her hands out. I groaned, taking her hands. "If you're not there, I will personally come to your apartment and kick your ass." She glared at me. "Fine." I rolled my eyes. She walked away and I picked up my shoes, starting to walk in the direction of the parking lot.
I showered, taking my time. After I got out of the shower I wrapped a towel around myself and my hair. I sat down at my vanity in my room and started getting ready.
I arrived at the the party a little late. Addy had already been calling. I parked and walked into the backyard of the house. I looked around, seeing Addy talking with Jes, James, and another guy from the shoot earlier. She saw me walking over and grinned. "And she lives." James laughed. I rolled my eyes. "Hello to you too." I said. "Did you meet Luke earlier?" James asked. I shook my head. He looked at me and smiled. "Hello, nice to meet you, Bree, right?" He asked, shaking my hand. "Yeah." I nodded, offering a smile back. He's cute, like really cute but in a little kid way. Addy raised her eyebrows at me and she gave me a knowing look. James' phone rang and he answered. Addy leaned over and whispered to me. "I know that look." She smirked. I rolled my eyes. "That was Gordon, he's almost here." James said. Gordon was the designer of the new fashion company that we were modeling for. Jes and James walked away and the three of us were left standing there. "So, do you guys live in town?" Luke asked. "I live in Florida, but Bree just moved here a couple weeks ago." "Really? That's pretty cool, I've thought about it, it would probably be easier for work, but I love living in Vegas." He grinned. "Vegas seems....interesting." I said. He laughed. "Yeah, it's not for a lot of people, but I love the constant high energy and noise."
Addy, Luke and I spent a while talking before James got onto the little stage and introduced Gordon. "Hello everybody and thank you for coming." Various cheers and noises erupted from everyone here. Gordon laughed. "Id like to take this time to thank you all for being apart of my dream and supporting my brand. It's been a long road to get here but it's all been worth it. As a special thank you for all of you choosing to be a part of this launch I have made you all a one of a kind item specifically designed for you. My assistant will hand them out. It may not be much, but I hope you all enjoy them. Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful evening." He stepped down and took a sip of his drink, looking around. He was gorgeous. Bright blue eyes, dark brown hair, tall, and gorgeous. "Are you Bree Hays?" A lady asked, turning my attention to her. "Uh, Yeah." I smiled. "Here you go." She handed me a outfit bag with a smile. I looked back up at Gordon, who was now looking at me with a smirk. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you did see the look he just gave you, right?" I heard Addy say from behind me. "Addy, stop." I laughed, turning around towards her. "Well don't look now, but he's coming over and he looks determined." She smirked, walking away. "Hello, Bree." I heard making me turn back around. Holy shit, his skin is literally flawless. "Hi." I smiled.
