OhSchnapp: Look I'm sorry for what happened the other night... meet me in my treefort in our backyards rn

Jackiebear: Uhh okay

Jack got out of bed this morning. He put on some trackpants and a hoodie and left. He was too lazy. Him and Noah haven't talked in 4 days. 4 days since the perfectly set up date that went awful. 4 days since Jack cutting. 4 days.

In their backyard a tree broke through the fence long before either of then were born and some kid built a tree fort in it. Jack never went up there. This would be his first time in a long time, His first time without Finn. It wasn't Noah's treehouse it was Finn's. Finn decorated it and made it more stable and even made a safety ladder for Jack who didn't bother climbing trees. And Noah just took over? That wasn't right. Jack climbed up the special ladder built just for him on his side of the fence only to be greeted by Noah Schnapp.

"Hey Jack.." he said, his voice trailing off. This was going to be awkward. "....Hi Noah" The boys sat in silence for a little before Noah broke the quiet. "Are we dating or not?" "I don't know Noah. I haven't told anyone I'm gay. I don't know" "Do you love me?" "I don't know" "Are you gay or bi?" "Noah I told you I don't know" "Okay.. I am sorry for the other night." Jack paused not knowing what to say. He hated Noah for the other night. They were 15 did he really think they were about to have sex?

"What were you ever thinking Noah? I mean we are literally 15" There was a long pause. "You have never dated anyone before have you?" Noah asked Jack calmly. "I did. A girl named Jane Hopper before she moved. I was 13" Noah nodded. "Look Noah, dating doesn't mean sex. Especially when I'm not ready okay?" Noah stared at him for a little. "Yeah, I guess. I'm sorry baby just... every relationship I've been in involved sex." Jack nodded. "Thanks for understanding Noah."

The boys now started getting comfortable. Noah sat in a corner on his phone playing a game. Jack sat on a ledge reading one of the many books Finn had helped him bring up. Noah looked up from his phone at his boyfriend. Neither asked each other out but everyone knew it was official. Even they knew it was official. "Hey Jack..." "Yes Noah?" "Does anyone ever call you a fag?" "umm... yes... why?" "Well I was just wondering. I mean they call me it obviously ad they call Finn and Wyatt it but i didn't know... it's kinda obvious too.." "What's that supposed to mean Noah?" "Well you kinda just dress like..." "Like what?!" Jack was getting more angry at Noah now. More than he ever has before. "Like a little more feminine. You were pink and pastel and.." "So what Noah? I don't care I didn't think you would either."

Jack got back too his book. He didn't want to speak to Noah and din't want Noah to speak to him. Seems like Noah got the message because not a word was said. About half an hour later Jack checked the time on his phone 9:40 am. Better get going. He stood up and put his book away in the shelf that was once Finn's back when they were kids. He started going backwards down the ladder. He got so that his shoulders were popping up above the fort. "Jackie am I losing you?" "Who says you ever had me" and with that Jack continued back down a step losing sight of the fort. He popped his head back up and glared at Noah "And DON'T call me that again"
