Wyatt pedaled on his bike. In his mind he wanted to speed up but he could only go at regular pace, the wind through his hair and his heart beating fast. He knew that Jaeden was his best friend and could only ever be his best friend. But he couldn't help but think about how sometimes his cheeks turned bright red after Wyatt flirted with his probably oout of embarrassment on how weird his friend was, he thought about his friends adorable smile and his sweet little laugh. He always denied feeling this way before, because he knew he felt it for a long time but he never felt it this strong. He knew there was no way to deny himself of his feelings. So he would start flirting. It hurt sometimes when Jaeden told him to "shut up" or "fuck off" but he couldn't help but notice how red his cheeks turned after every comment. This was showing up almost all the time now and it always made Wyatt feel a little better about himself.

Jaeden was sitting in his living room watching the clock and counting the minutes until Wyatt would show up. Jaeden was dating an amazing girl but for some reason he longingly waited to hold Wyatt in his arms rather than Lilia. He tried to push those feelings aside because he assured himself that he loved Lilia and him and Wyatt were just such close friends. But he couldn't help but feel that was wrong. Suddenly a knock at the door interrupted his thoughts this Saturday morning.

"Hey Wyatt, come in" Wyatt did as he was told. "Hey Jaeden" Jaeden smiled that god awful smile, "god i almost forgot how cute you were" Wyatt stated. Jaeden felt his face flood with a crimson colour, one that only Wyatt could make appear. Wyatt pretended not to notice how hot and flushed Jaedens face was. "So you ready to go?" Wyatt asked excitedly. The two and their friends were meeting at the park to get some ice cream. Jaeden checked his watch, "well.... its only 11:45 and we should leave at 12 to get there at quarter after" "great a whole 15 minutes alone with you!" Wyatt wouldn't leave Jaeden alone about his red face any longer "awww Jae Jae the though of being alone with me make you blush?" Wyatt let out with a smile. "...n-n-no it's not th-that i-it's just h-hot in here " Jaeden tried to hide the fact that, yes indeed, it did make him blush but he didnt know why.

Minutes went by of the boys sitting on the couch in complete silence and awkwardness. Wyatt was staring at his phone scrolling through some type of social media, Instargam Jaeden guessed. but it was all Jaeden could do but not to take his eyes off this beautiful boy.
