Sophia had gone a week without talking with Millie. She was slowly sinking deeper and deeper. Millie would sit with their friends at lunch but Sophia avoided everyone at every chance she could get. She missed going going for pizza, and a movie night at Sadie's. She missed lunch and instead hid in the music room. She would play piano, ukulele and guitar just to get her mind off stuff. The music teacher didn't mind, she was actually really cool with it.
Sophia hated being alone but she felt like she had no other choice. No one even knew Millie liked girls and she probably didn't it was probably some sick joke and Millie would never want to speak to her again. But Sophia never realized how hard it was to survive without her friends. She couldn't joke with Jeremy, dance with Caleb, have food fights with Gaten, do homework with Wyatt, make crafts with Sadie, do Finn and hers special handshake, she missed telling secrets to Jaeden and reading Jacks story's but most of all shockingly she missed hugging Millie. Her life felt so empty without giving Millie a hug everyday and talking with her and joking around and doing bestfriend things.
Before Sophia knew it she was sitting at the piano stool, crying over some girl. No, Millie Bobby Brown would never be some girl to Sophia. When Millie moved here she was not some girl, when Sophia grew old Millie would not be some girl so she was not some girl now. Millie was everything perfect in this world. Millie was-
The door was opened and Sophia heard some chatting that was soon shushed. "Uh I'm sorry we can... leave if you want?" It was a kind a familiar voice. Sophia looked up to see 3 girls standing in the door way of the music room. Sophia shook her head, "no... you guys can come sit." She said emotionless.
The girls turned out to be none other than Chantell, Lauren and Natalia. Sophia tried to hold back her tears but before she knew it she was enveloped into Chantells arms. Sophia sobbed into Chantells shoulder, wetting her shirt no doubt but Chantell stayed in place rubbing soothing circles on her back. "Shhhh Soph it'll be okay I promise"
Sophia shook head and looked up wiping the tears off of her face. "I duh-don't think it w-will be thi-his time" Lauren reached her hand to to wipe the tears from Sophia's cheeks as Chantell held her hand on one side of her and Natalia fixed her hair on the other. She barely knew these girls but just having them here made her feel a little bit better. Even if Millie wasn't there at least Sophia knew she has someone.
"Sophia tell us what happened" Natalia said, squeezing her shoulder. "I m-messed up. We played suh-seven minutes in heaven and someone kissed muh-me and I-I found out it was Millie when she kissed me again and I've been avoiding her all week. I-I miss her and everyone so much but I can't face them right now." Sophia chocked out.
Lauren spoke up, "Sophia, if she didn't like you why would she have even kissed you in the first place" Sophia just shook her head. She couldn't think of why but was scared it wasn't real. "I don't want to fall in love with her but I think that's too late"
"Sophia let's get you cleaned up and we can take you out for the day?" Chantell said. "Just half a day. No biggie." Sophia shook her head " no I'm just going to finish the day. Thanks though" the three nodded and Sophia got up. Halfway done the hall she heard her voice being called. She turned back to see Natalia.
When Natalia got closer to her Sophia asked "Natalia what are you do-" but she was cut off by the other girls lips crashing onto hers. It didn't feel like Millie but it felt good. It felt bad but good, she felt warm and hopefully and Sophia needed that. Natalia pulled away to read Sophia expression and all Sophia did was smile and walk to her next class.
Ahh! How are you guys liking this? I think Natalia is a drama starter in this story but Sophia needs more romance than in a closet and drunk at a party. Enjoy:))
