Thalia
Thalia had planned to stay in Tulsa for two weeks at the maximum. She wanted to make it to Hollywood. Make it big as an actress. But certain people had slowed that down.

She visited the gang everyday after the night that Pony had brought her back to his house. Since she was staying for longer than originally planned, she decided to get a job. Thalia, being Thalia, wanted the least boring job she could get, so she could make the rest of her life a little brighter. So, she got a job at the ice cream parlor. She worked the same hours as Elaina, so they usually walked together.

Thalia had heard multiple stories of the socs jumping greasers, and occasionally, vice versa. Elaina made sure that Thalia wouldn't be the star of one of those stories. Elaina was tough, tougher than Thalia. But Thalia could hold her ground if absolutely necessary.

Eventually, Thalia had been in Tulsa for six weeks. Much longer than she would have originally liked, but now, she was growing accustomed to the chocolate cake she ate for breakfast and the gang joking around with her. She bought a small house that was just a few blocks away from the Curtis' house. Everything was finally looking good for Thalia.

Thalia would be okay if the rest of her life was like this.

Dallas
Thalia had told Dallas about all of her moving around. Dallas knew that Thalia was not very likely going to stay. He wanted to be the one who would change her mind.

Dally and Thalia had been bonding over late night runs to convenience stores and little road trips that were no longer than and hour or so.

"Hey, Thal, do you want to go on a long road trip with me?" Dally asked one day out of the blue.

"I'm not too sure about that, Dal. I would, but I'm not sure if I can take the day off from my job. You know, I just started a few weeks ago and I want them to like me," Thalia explained.

"Come on. Just you and me and the stars. It will be fun. Thal, life's too short to do boring things," Dally said.

"You're right, life is too short," Thalia responded.

You may not notice, but I'm totally in love with you.
