5 months later, jayson is now one

genesis's p.o.v

"elijah! elijah! come now!" i yelled and the sound of footsteps on the stairs filled my ears. "what? what's going on?!" he yelled worried. i laughed and pointed at jayson, who was walking to his crib. "you scared me!" he yelled and i laughed. i stared at jayson and elijah sat with me on the floor.

"i'm going to cry" i said and he hugged me. "it's okay to cry, he's walking. now we really have to baby proof the house" he said and i laughed. "jay jay, come to mommy" i said and he slowly turned around. he started to walk to me but he stubbled into elijah's arms. "guys! come in here!" i yelled and everyone rushed in. "we have a surprise" elijah said and put elijah down. "what?" derek asked.

"mika, call jayson" i said and she did. "come here, baby" she said and he started to walk to her. "he's walking! oh my god!" mikaela yelled and picked up jayson. we all laughed and she put him down. we all stood there amazed with jayson and his walking skills.
