I groan as I hear the sound of my alarm on my phone. Today is gonna suck major balls. I press "stop" and get up. I rub my eyes and get ready for today. I go into my bathroom and look in the mirror. I have a a bowl haircut right now, this needs to be fixed. I put some product in my hair so that's it's out of my face, and I don't look like a child. Eventually, I get my backpack, phone and anything else I could possibly need downstairs where I see my dad drinking coffee.
"Hey dad."
"Mmmh" My father mumbles out.
I decide to not try to press the conversation further, seeing his exhaustion.
I pour some orange juice and grab a water bottle to drink throughout the day. I'm trying to keep hydrated more, considering the fact that this summer I would only drink Redbull and almost died. Well not died, almost fainted. But if I fainted I could have hit my head on the table and then died.
I finish up my juice and head out the door. I only live a couple blocks away from my school so I walk. Although I have a car I'd rather save money for gas. I put earbuds in and play the Katamari soundtrack. I know how nerdy that sounds but it's really fucking good.
I guess I get lost in my music because I tripped on a rock. I fall.
"Shit"
I'm right out of the school and now kids are looking at me. Fantastic. I knew this day was gonna suck.
