Photography with Tucker was really fun. The teacher kind of let us do whatever so we went into the computer lab in the class. I put on roblox and tried to get a roblox gf. Which wasn't hard at all.
"You know that these people are like actual children that you're asking to be your gf." Tucker says laughing hysterically.
I get disgusted and close the tab.
"Please don't report me to Chris Hansen."
"Have a seat Matt."
"FUCK NO, I'M TOO YOUNG TO GO TO JAIL."
The laughter dies out after a while.
"Ryan seems pretty cool." Tucker says
"Yeah for real. We should hangout sometime or something. I wanted to get his phone number."
"Yeah that would be radical!"
"Radical? Are you serious?" I ask "Are you a surfer from the 90's?"
"Shut up." Tucker says pushing my shoulder.
"I had to be partners with Rebecca last hour."
"Oh shit. I imagine that it didn't go great?"
"Nope. She accused me of breaking up with Elizabeth because I'm in love with you."
"What the actual fuck."
"Exactly."
"I mean, I know I'm irresistible but damn." Tucker says pulling a sexy pose
"Fuck off cunt."
"No but seriously, that really sucks. I'm sorry."
"It's all good. Today was actually less worse than I thought it would be."
The bell rings and I almost shriek of happiness. I can go home.
I say bye to Tucker, who goes to his car in the school parking lot.
I start walking home when I see Ryan.
"Hey Ryan!"
Ryan turns around
"Hey Matt."
"So um are you going this way?" I ask pointing to my path to my house."
"Yeah I only live a couple blocks away."
"Same." I say
"Oh cool."
I really want to ask for his phone number. God, why can't I just do it? It's not a big deal.
"Well here's my house." Ryan says
I guess I stopped thinking about where I was walking because my house is a block back away.
"Okay. Well my house is back that way."
"You walked me home. Such a gentleman."
I feel my cheeks burn up.
Ryan and I look at each other for a while and he turns away and starts walking to his door.
"Wait Ryan!"
He turns around to look at me
"Could I have your phone number?"
Ryan chuckles and says something underneath his breath I can't hear.
"Yeah sure." Ryan says
I hand him my phone and he enters his number. He names himself "ryan magee 🗿" in my contacts
I don't know why he put an easter island head emoji on there but at least I have his number now.
