The holiday break is over and I have to go back to school today. My parents found out of course. They mainly looked more uncomfortable then ashamed. Especially my dad. Ryan hasn't talked to me since the incident. He said his step-dad was a dick and I just hope everything is okay. But I guess I will see Ryan today, which is good. As I leave my house I have a mixture of emotions. I'm excited to see Ryan but I'm nervous and scared about what pricks are gonna try to start something.
"Matt!"
I turn around to see Tucker trying to catch his breath.
"Are you okay?"
"I thought I was more fit then I am. Feels like I ran a marathon."
We start walking together.
"Bro Fortnite is better what do you mean?" Tucker says
"Yeah, maybe if you are a virgin. Plus Fortnite totally ripped off PUBG."
"Yeah and I guess you could say they both ripped off of Minecraft Hunger Games."
"You're fucking dumb. But Minecraft Hunger Games is the best battle royale." I say
"Oh, I'm the dumb one?"
"Yeah. You're also a pussy virgin." I laugh
Tucker opened his mouth to say something but gets cut off by a kid with a buzz cut along with his friends.
"Is this your new boyfriend?"
"Fuck off." I say.
"I didn't think you were into hippy types. Guess you will go for any boy though."
Tucker holds me back knowing I was getting ready to beat his face in.
"Faggot." He says while walking away.
Tucker pulls me into a tight hug before I can say or do something stupid.
"It's alright, Matt. He isn't worth it."
After Tucker calms me down we walk to my classroom. I thank him for walking me to there even know it makes me feel like a baby who can defend for themselves.
I have Mr. Green for my first hour. He is a pretty cool and understanding teacher but I really don't want to hear his advice. Of course though, he comes up to my desk.
"Hey." My teacher says.
I nod in return.
"I guess you can imagine what I want to talk to you about. Listen, if I were in your shoes I wouldn't want to hear a long lecture from some history teacher that doesn't know anything about this stuff. However, I know how much things suck for you right now and I figure you need at least one person saying they support you. And I do, I support you. You and Ryan are great guys and pretty cute together."
"Mr. Green."
"Sorry, sorry. I had to say it. But anyways, I am always here for you. If you ever want to talk, doesn't even have to be about this. Could be about memes which apparently I don't understand them."
"You show us memes from 2010 expecting us to laugh at them."
"Okay well this is why I need your help. I've been trying but I don't understand it."

"I want to go for that old man look. Get off my yard!"
I laugh along with Green. He surprisedly made me feel better. He pats my shoulder as the bell rings going back to his desk to start the class.
