CLARISSA POV

* * * *

" CLARISSA! Please darling, you need to look appropriate for your first day. that dress is far too short " My mother looked at me with disgust.

" You know mother, I have my own life too. you don't need to boss me around all your life, I'm growning up. My dress is fine, It's past my knees. ".

I love my mom but she gets on my nerves most of the time. She shook her head in disagreement and pointed to the dress on my bed. I glared at her for a moment and she got the hint. I wasn't going to put that dress on. It wasn't even mine.

I had a 2 hours to spare before we leave so i decided to write in my diary for the last time.

2/01/2014

I have decided that the old 'Dear Diary' Thing was for 10 year olds two weeks ago, so I removed it. I'm leaving for Uni today I'm far from excited. Grateful could describe what I'm feeling right now, Grateful that I'm leaving my past behind to start a new life. I will not throw away most of my past. Like the time when my friends and I had our first drink. I hated that but it was fun. I swore I'd never drink again after that and I plan to keep my word. The things I'm happy to be leaving behind are the multiple boyfriends who just dumped me in the corner of a street and left me to die (Not litterally just a form of speech). I'm most excited to start my new job at the coffee house and meet new people. NO DATING FOR ME. Anyways goodbye Diary. Forever.

'Wow' i thought to myself. I had spent 1 hour and 30 minutes to write in that stupid thing and I have to leave soon.

I really just want to get out of here. But instead I find myself drifting out to random thoughts.

" CLARISSA! CLARISSA RAE! GET DOWN HERE NOW. YOU WILL BE LATE '' My mother yelled from the bottom of my staircase.

" COMING MOM!" I glanced down at my phone to check the time and realized that I had been daydreaming for the last 35 minutes. What the hell.

" Clarissa darling what on Earth were you doing. Did you not hear me calling. And what the hell is wrong with your hair. Acctually Ignore my questions, Just get into the car we have to leave" My mother said to me with a confused face. I jumped into the car with my bags and we left.
