"Wait, WHAT?!?" Beastboy couldn't believe what the hell he was hearing. Sure, Raven was powerful, the most powerful person on the team even, but the most powerful person alive was a stretch.

"Trigon was by far the most powerful villain we've ever faced. If his powers went to Raven, that makes her even more powerful than he ever was." Robin explained to Beastboy.

"That's why I've been feeling stronger," Raven had been feeling more powerful than ever but she thought it was just because she wasn't bound to her father. She would have never guessed that her fathers dead lead to her new found powers. "That's why I was able to do that wind thing when I faced Dr. Light a while ago."

"What else can you do?" Cyborg asked. Raven's newfound powers could help in future fights.

Raven thought for a minute. What could she do that's new now?

"Hm. Well I can speed up my run, slow down time, freeze people, maybe more. I'm not exactly sure yet. I guess more abilities when come forth when they're needed." Raven was elated. She felt her power jolt in her blood. She felt new, reborn even.

"Wait friends, we are the forgetting something," Star interrupted her friends joy at friend Ravens abilities, " how did the villains find out that Raven is the most powerful person alive?" She questioned.

Robin knew the answer to this one. " It was Slade, Star," Star looked over at Robin when he said this with her giant green eyes. Robin had to look away to continue. He could never look at Star to long or he'd get a longing feeling in his stomach. Every time he looked at Starfire, he had to resist the urge to grab her and proclaim his love for her.

Damn Star and her adorable face.

"He was working for Trigon when he was trying to take over the world, so of course he knew this would happen. That exactly why he helped us defeat Trigon." Robin explained to everyone.

Everyone in that room was torn. Ecstatic about Ravens newfound abilities and powers. Distraught over the fact that every villain in the world was after her and for some reason Beastboy was the most distraught out of every other teammate.

He didn't know why, either.

2AM is what the numbers on the digital clock read.

Raven was tired but for some reason she couldn't sleep. She hoped out of bed and prayed that no one was in the kitchen. All she had one was some tiny red shorts and a spaghetti strap top. She was almost positive that nobody was up at this time of night. Raven slipped on her bunny slippers and padded her way to the common room.

She stood corrected.

A shirtless Beastboy was stretched across the couch. His abs shined in the light reflecting off the tv. Beastboy entire body covered the couch. In the past month, he had grown to be the second tallest on the team, leaving Raven to be the shortest. He also decided that he was tired of being scrawny and started working out.

And boy did it show.

Taunt abs were on full display for Raven to gaze at. Raven wasn't gonna deny that she found Gar attractive but she won't say that she was attracted to him.

At least she won't say it out loud.

Gar reached for his soda, making his arm flex and the muscles on his strong arms became more prominent. Raven gulped.

Beastboys spikey ears picked up on the sound and his emerald eyes met Ravens amethyst eyes. He gave her a cheeky grin. "Hey Rae, whatcha doing up so late?"

Beastboy couldn't help himself. His eyes trailed down Raven's short curvy body. He'd never seen her dressed so casually. Her legs looked a mile long in those shorts and her shirt hugged her in all the right places. He couldn't explain how sexy and beautiful Raven looked. He felt his joggers get a little bit smaller and he cursed himself under his breath.

Raven could have swore she saw Beastboy's eyes trail down her body. Maybe it was just her imagination. "I couldn't sleep. Just came to make some tea."

Raven swiftly walked past Beastboy and he got a whiff of Raven's scent. Vanilla and something herbal. Raven was the best smelling person on the team. Robin smelt of aftershave, Cy smelt like metal, Star's strawberry smell was nice but sometimes it got overwhelming. Raven smelt earthly and refreshing. He loved it.

Raven fluidly made her way around the kitchen, setting her kettle on the stove and getting her tea cup ready. Beastboy got up and approached Raven.

"Listen, Rae, I wanna apologize for what I said the other day." Beastboy's hand was rubbing the back of his neck and his leg was shaking. He was nervous and felt a little awkward.

"It's fine Gar, it's in th-," Raven didn't get to finish her sentence because Beastboy cut her off.

"No, Rae listen for a minute." Beastboy spoke gently. "Can I be honest with you for a minute?" He was now standing right in front of Raven, staring down at her short figure.

Beastboy was staring at Raven so intently that Raven was scared to speak, afraid that she'd say something stupid so she just nodded at Beastboy.

"I said those things because I was mad. I was mad because," he took a shaky breathe, " I don't like your monotone voice." Beastboys eyes connected with Raven's. "It makes me uncomfortable when you talk me in that voice. I'm sorry for snapping like that."

Raven felt guilty. She used her monotone voice as a way to fight of emotions. She was so used to it that's she didn't even realize that she way doing it.

"I'm sorry, Gar. I've been doing it for so long that I just forgot to stop. I'll try to stop for you, ok?" Raven felt bad. She never noticed that anything affected him. He was always happy and smiling. Raven realized that, he was good at hiding his emotions.

Just like her.

Beastboy looked at Raven in surprise. Raven was never so willing to share and apologize. He grinned at her and his eyes shined in happiness at Raven. Raven felt her heart stutter. Hands down, Gar had the most handsome smile Raven had ever seen.

The moment was ruined when a loud whistle pierced through the room. Raven walked away from Beastboy and made her way over to the kettle. She filled her cup up with pipping hot tea and used her powers to hold it because it was too hot to hold. Beastboy had returned to the couch, but now he was grinning like a lunatic. Raven shoke her head at him and headed towards the door.

"Wait!" Beastboy called from behind her. She turned around to see him sitting on the couch, looking at her with a curious smile.

"Did you call me Gar earlier?" Beastboy was super happy. He normally didn't like his real name but he loved the way it rolled off her tongue.

"I-I didn't mean to say it out loud. I usually call you Gar in my head and it must have slipped." Raven was embarrassed. She always referred to him as Gar in her head. The truth was, she loved his real name.

Beastboy looked at Raven teasingly. "It's okay, I like when you call me Gar, Rae." Beastboy just wanted to see her smile, "Say it again? Please? Please? Please?"

Raven slightly smiled at Beastboy. "Goodnight, Gar." She quickly waved at him before heading to her room. Garfield watched Raven as she walked away before falling back on the couch with a happy smile on his green face.

That smile was on his face when he fell asleep.
