"Raaaaaaveeen!!"

All I heard was my name before I was enveloped in a bone crushing hug. Melvin hugged me to death, along with Timmy, and Teether.

I wrap them in a group hug, squeezing them just as hard. "Oh my gosh, what are you guys doing here?!"

I haven't seen the kids in so long, not since about a year ago when I took the team to meet them.

Timmy smiled at me, showing off his gums. He must have recently lost some teeth. "Uncle BB invited us! He said you guys were having a party."

I looked past them at Beastboy, who was leaning against the doorway, a beanie covering his thick green locks. He winked at me, showing off his fang. I mouthed a 'thank you' to him and wondered how he got them here without me knowing.

The monks at the monastery were very hesitant about letting them come over here. Not that they didn't trust us, but because of the lives we lead. Fortunately for us, we had managed to put most crime lords behind bars.

For now, at least.

The kids ran off the greet 'Uncle Cyborg' as they called him. Beastboy walked towards me, circling his arms around my waist and pecking my cheek. "Like my surprise?"

I raise my eyebrows at him grinning. "My surprise? This is a homecoming party for Kori, not me."

He grins at me. " yeah, but we both know the kids are more of a surprise for you than her."

I have to crane my neck to look at him because I swear he got taller. Every time I bring that up to him though, he just smirks and states that I just shrunk.

I notice the look in his eyes, and quickly step out of his hold. I glare at him, "no."

He pokes his bottom lip out at me, "I just wanted a kiss."

Kiss my ass, "we both know that's not all you wanted."

Before he says anything, I walk outside to greet everyone. Melvin runs around with Brie, Bee and Cyborg's daughter. Timmy and Teether are whispering among themselves, probably planning to do something stupid or pull a prank.

They learned how to prank from Garfield, of course.

"Raven, over here."

I turn my head and walk over to the man in a black outfit, a blue bat symbol on his chest, giving him a friendly hug. "Hi, Ro-." I catch myself, "Dick, how are you?"

Nightwing chuckles down at me. "Still struggling to not call me Robin, huh?"

I shrug. "When you spend years calling someone one name, it's hard to just stop."

Nightwing nods. "Understandable."

I smirk at him, elbowing his side, "you're nervous." It's a statement, not a question.

His masked eyes shift to me briefly before looking away, "No I'm not."

"Tsk, tsk, I never took you as a liar."

He grunts, "I hate you."

I punch him arm. "Love you too. Why are you nervous to see your own wife?"

"I don't know, it's been so long since I saw her."

I glare at him, "you saw her two months ago, idiot. Some of use haven't seen her for a year."

Dick runs his hand through this hair, "I have my reasons. I always think she's going to find someone better for her whenever she goes back to Tamaran."

I raise an eyebrow at him. "That girl has been obsessed with you since the day she met you. No way she'll ever abandon you."

"How is everyone here?" Nightwing questions, completely disregarding my words. I can tell they made him feel better, though.
