Raven woke up the next morning in a haze. The words Beastboy said to her last night kept repeating in her head.

'I like when you call me Gar, Rae.'

Raven didn't understand why she was so hung up on that. She shook her head to clear her thoughts and then headed out to the kitchen. As usual, Robin was the first person in the kitchen, preparing himself a healthy meal. Then Starfire can flying in and said 'glorious morning friends' before heading to the fridge for her mustard.

Cyborg and lastly Beastboy made their way to the kitchen table, where they both decided on cereal. No one could see Raven yet, as she was just standing in the back, observing her friends. Raven finally floated to the kitchen and set her kettle on the stove.

Suddenly a flash of pink flew in front of Raven before she was lifted in the air and into a bone crushing hug.

"Friend Raven! Have you finally decided to wear the normal clothes?" Starfire grinned at her friend. She had been pestering Raven for months to wear regular clothes and not her uniform all the time.

Raven looked at Star confused before she realized that she still had on her shorts and tank top. She was in such a daze this morning that she didn't change. With a snap of her fingers, Raven was in her normal leotard, boots, and her iconic cape. She pulled her hair from its bun and let it tumble around her shoulders. Her hair had grown to her middle back and she wasn't sure if she was gonna cut it yet.

"Friend, why did you change?" Starfire asked in a disappointed tone.

"Star, that's just the outfit I sleep in." Raven explained.

Star was confused. "So you own the normal outfits and just never choose to wear them?"

Raven nodded at her friend and walked over to the stove to retrieve her kettle and pour the water into her tea cup. She then joined her friends at the table to enjoy her breakfast.

Suddenly the ground started shaking. "What the hell?" Cyborg exclaimed, angry because the movement caused his cereal to tip over.

Raven could detect the direction the vibration was coming from and stood up, heading towards the left window. She gasped at what she saw, alerting her friends to come look.

"Holy shit." Beastboy mumbled under his breath.

In the distance, the team could see a giant Sladebot that Slade himself was in and hundreds of sladebots behind them, all headed for the T-tower.

Robin turned around and gave his teammates a hard look, "We know who they're here for. Forget the sladebots, protect Raven."

If there's one thing Raven hates, it's feeling like she was incapable of taking care of herself. "No Robin, I can take care of myself."

Robin stared at Raven and she stared back defiantly. Finally Robin sighed and nodded his head. "You guys know what to do. Titans Go!"

They all headed outside, Beastboy carrying Robin as a pterodactyl, Star caring Cyborg, and Raven flying solo. The sladebots immediately starting shooting at them but Raven threw up a barrier bubble just in time. Robin ran at a couple of sladebots a whipped out his staff. Within seconds, eight sladebots where down and he didn't plan to stop there.

Starfire flew above and shot down tons of bots with her eye beams. Cyborg followed her lead and started blasting bots with his sonic cannon. Beastboy went into bear mode and started slashing bots left and right. Raven chanted her mantra and hundreds of machetes appeared behind her. She sent the knives out and they started taking down sladebots.

One by one.

In two minutes, the Titans has taken down almost two hundred sladebots. A slow, menacing clap echoed through the area. Slade was clapping at them with his signature smirk.

"Well done, Titans. You took down my bots in a recorded time," he chuckled before his eyes slid to Raven, "we all know who you owe that to."

"What the hell do you want her for, Slade?" Robin asked in an icy tone. Robin cared about all of his teammates deeply because they were the only family he had.

"For her power Robin. If I got Raven on my side, I could take over the world easily. No one could take her down." Slade started slowly walking around, teasing Robin. Robin had a bad temper, everyone knew it. Slade was just trying to get a rise out of him.

Robin growled ready to lunge at that lunatic when a small firm hand pulled him back. Robin was ready to fight whoever was holding him when his eyes connected with Star's. She shook her head at him, telling him not to attack yet. Robin stood down, but kept his guard up.

"What I don't understand is why Raven is still on your team. She's stronger than all of you combined. She could take you all down without lifting her hand." Slade kept his eyes on Raven as he spoke, "come with me child. They're all useless pieces of shit who can't understand you powers the way I ca-."  Slade was cut off when a jolt of dark thunder shot him down.

Raven was mad. Real mad. He could talk about her, but when it came to her friends, he'd cross the line. Raven used her powers to lift Slade up by his neck, choking him.

"Listen to me when I say this," Raven hissed, "if I see your dumbass around me or my friends again, I will personally end you."

Raven cuffed Slade before she dropped him to the ground. Robin personally escorted him the the city jail, where they locked him up in maximum security.

Back at the tower, all of the Titans were relaxing on the couch, getting there energy back from the fight.

"Raven," Star spoke, "why did you get so mad when Slade was talking about us?" She questioned.

"I don't like when people talk about my friends. You guys mean the world to me." Raven spoke quietly. She wasn't used to this whole sharing feelings thing.

"Even me, Rae?" Beastboy questioned with a smiles that showed his adorable fang.

'For some reason, you mean the most to me, Gar' Raven thought to herself. "Even you, Beastboy."

2AM is what the clock read.

Raven didn't understand why she was always up at this time of night. She sighed and got up. She hoped that Beastboy wasn't in the common room. Last night his handsome smile and strong body was the subject of Raven dreams.

And she couldn't say she didn't like them.

But they made her brain go haywire with scenarios. Scenarios that would never happen in a million years. Raven headed for the kitchen, floating so that she would be detected. When Raven entered the kitchen, her eyes immediately met with someone's blue eyes. That seemed normal at first but then she realized.

No one on the team had blue eyes.
