Raven woke up and breathed in the fresh air. Her back was sore but other than that she felt fine. She hopped out of the bed in the medical bay and walked to her room. She took her time showering and washing her hair and then quickly dressed. Raven wondered into the common room, where all of her friends were sitting on the couch, discussing something. They stopped talking and Star flew to Raven, capturing her in a bone crushing hug. Everyone else joined, making it a group hug.
"Raven. I am the sorry about our argument the other day. I thought you were going to die in that bank, I'm so happy your alive!" Star was starting to choke up, her voice wavering. Raven hugged her tightly.
"It's alright Star. No need to apologize." She said.
Cyborg placed his robotic hand on her shoulder. "I'm glad you're here Rave."
She placed her hand on his, squeezing his hand. Robin looked at Raven and nodded. "Raven, what you did was incredibly heroic. Your could have died yesterday. I don't know whether I'm mad at you for risking your life or proud of you for being so brave."
Raven laughed. It was barely there, but she could detect the teasing in his voice. Beastboy just smiled at her. "RaeRae, don't ever scare me like that again! Or else you'll get tickled." He pulled her into his arms, where he tickled her sides lightly and she squealed. She slapped his chest jokingly and grinned at her.
She was surrounded by people who cared for her and that all that mattered.

Raven couldn't handle it. Two days. Two fucking days since the bank rescue and the people of Jump City won't give her a break. Every news station in town had filmed the bank crashing and Raven and Avery emerging from the rubble. They followed Raven every where she went, asking questions. She went to the library's, they were there. She went to go get something to eat, they were there. She went to shop, they were pretending to be workers at the mall.
It was amazing at first, humbling even, but when you spend all day being badgered by reporters and every person you walk by wants a picture or and autograph or a T-shirt, it gets annoying.
Raven ignored the tons of reporters behind her got into the elevator. When she arrived on the common floor, she trudged into the room, mumbling to Beastboy. She plopped on the couch, laying her head on Beastboy's lap. "I can't fucking do this anymore!" She rubbed her hands down her face as Beastboy laughed at her.
"The news anchors still giving you trouble, mama?" He asked through a mouth full of popcorn.
She groaned into her hands. "It's like there's nothing else for them to report. I wish they'd leave me alone!"
Beastboy chuckled. "Why don't you just ask them to leave you alone?"
"I'm too nice." She pouted at him, poking out her bottom lip. Beastboy looked down at Raven before he burst out laughed. "You? Nice? Good one Rae!" She glared up at him. He laughed even harder.
